814 Bistro is only open Friday through Sunday brunch , and truly is some of the best food in the Texas Hill Country. The atmosphere and the staff are both very charming. The menu is small , but never disappoints. Always fresh and and the plate presentation is beautiful.

Chef Millard never ceases to amaze with his delicious plates ... My sister and I had the redfish and another friend had steak ...good choices for wine and desserts ... Always enjoy having dinner there !

My wife and I enjoyed this Chef/Owner Bistro. She had salmon and loved the way it was cooked. I had the pork medallions over garlic mash potatoes. With the sauce over the pork and the potatoes the taste was very good. I was lucky that chef served asparagus, my wife does not like them so I enjoyed the way he... More

We've enjoyed this restaurant many times. You need to make a reservation so they know how to plan bc its a small place. This time we came on a busy Memorial Day weekend and had to sit on the patio but it was still nice. The food was delicious--filet mignon and lamb that night. Service was good and nice wine... More

Great place. Visited twice during our stay next door at Faust Hotel. Food was excellent and service was fantastic. We had dinner and brunch. Both were fantastic

Stopped in for lunch while driving through the Texas hill country and we were pleasantly surprised when we stepped into this quant bistro. Service was good and the food was even better - everything was freshly made and very delicious. Love the way they transformed this old store front into a lovely little restaurant.

This is a wonderful restaurant! You need to be sure and check their hours and days of operation before you head to Comfort. They have a small menu and a small restaurant. We have never had a bad meal here and have always received excellent service. Highly recommend it.

I never write reviews, but our experience at 814-A was too good not to share. My husband and I had dinner our here when we were staying in Comfort for a wedding. We got one of each of the starters to share and ended with the chocolate bread pudding. Every bite was delicious and you can tell the chef puts... More

Came with husband. Not a lot of choices but everything was spectacular. We had the filet mignon and the snapper. Would recommend both. Salad was also very good. Pricey though some be prepared. 2 without alcohol was $100 plus tip.

Had a wonderful brunch here. Great small Bistro. Very intimate setting. The food was wonderful and the staff was present without being overbearing.
