Best in town

I have to come to BCS every 4-6 weeks. Independently owned by an Italian, the food is consistently good. Although certainly not the best Italian food I've had, the service is good, decent wine list, fresh and well prepared. It's the best you are going to find in this college town for sure.

It is not the best Italian food I have ever had but it is decent, served in a very nice place. Little bit dark in the dinner but it is still a nice place. Worth the visit, will come

Cenare has a great and comfortable ambience complimented with their great tasting Italian food! Try their Mozzarella Caprese, made from fresh mozzarella every time I have been there. Their Tortellini alla Diavola tastes delicious and if you like it a little bit spicy, then tell your waiter to spice it up a little :) End your meal with their delicious... More

The food at Cenare is very good but what I really like about this restaurant is the uniqueness of the menu. They have a number of dishes that in the Bryan area at least, you'll only find at Cenare. The food has a very rich and complex flavor. The atmosphere is nice too. A little dark, soft Italian music playing,... More

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was very good, the service was excellent and the prices were reasonable.

My wife and I called to make a reservation and we were told by the manager that the restaurant does not take reservations. We asked if there were tables available and she said "yes, plenty." We arrive to find the place packed with people. After 5 minutes, the manager noticed we were waiting and said she would look for a... More

Came with a group to try their Italian food and it did not disappoint. The portions are huge and very tasty. Wait staff were attentive and made every attempt to meet our time schedule. I don't particularly like tiramisu but I tried it since it is a signature dish there. It was not bad...I just don't like coffee.

I read the prior review that said this restaurant disappointed the reviewer, and I mentined the poor review when I made our reservation. Jermy, who took the reservation, noted that they were going to prove the reviewer wrong when we went. Unfortunately, they did not. I thought that the reason was because the owners, Italians both, were not there. At... More

We drove through College Station and decided to stop here, and boy oh boy do I wish we hadn't. Overall the food was dry, overly breaded, and lacking flavor. Had the calamari, house salad and bread, and fettuccini Alfredo. All of it was majorly disappointing and borderline unappetizing. Restaurant appears old and worn down, all the chairs and tables had... More

The food is really satisfying. The tiramisu is truly brilliant - don't miss it!! The chicken and eggplant parmesan are also terrific... Low-carb options on request. They also have very good acoustics for business meetings and romantic dates -- you can hear yourself and others.
