This is a restaurant that has been here for as long as I can remember but we forget to go. The chains have taken over. We had the Tilapia al Buongustaio (It comes in different levels of heat. We had the spicy with fresh jalapenos and it was excellent. The filet was a nice fat filet. The crab meat Au... More

The food and service continues to be good enough though the server from my most recent experience probably wasn't born the first time I ate here. It was a great trip down memory lane.

This was an excellent choice. I would have given a four star in a larger city but for College Station, it was a 5 star. Great service, Great Food and Great Prices. I would definitely eat here again if I were in town.

Reasonable food. Decent sauces. Nice atmosphere. A bit dark inside like the Italian places 50 yrs ago. Reasonably priced wine by the carafe. Drinkable, like the stuff in moderate priced places in Italy. Only wine and beer. No full bar. We went back a second time.

The menu, setting, and employees were so inviting and welcoming. Tilapia was just so delicious that I had to eat the whole thing! Would love to have sampled their tiramisu, which, I hear, is great!

It is not the best Italian food I have ever had but it is decent, served in a very nice place. Little bit dark in the dinner but it is still a nice place. Worth the visit, will come

I have to come to BCS every 4-6 weeks. Independently owned by an Italian, the food is consistently good. Although certainly not the best Italian food I've had, the service is good, decent wine list, fresh and well prepared. It's the best you are going to find in this college town for sure.

Cenare has a great and comfortable ambience complimented with their great tasting Italian food! Try their Mozzarella Caprese, made from fresh mozzarella every time I have been there. Their Tortellini alla Diavola tastes delicious and if you like it a little bit spicy, then tell your waiter to spice it up a little :) End your meal with their delicious... More

The food at Cenare is very good but what I really like about this restaurant is the uniqueness of the menu. They have a number of dishes that in the Bryan area at least, you'll only find at Cenare. The food has a very rich and complex flavor. The atmosphere is nice too. A little dark, soft Italian music playing,... More
