The Cafe had a huge group show up before we did so I am sure that is why our food was so very slow in coming out for lunch.... Now with that said, aside from the SLOW service, we had a fantastic lunch with a tomato soup that was absolutely out standing! We wanted to try one of the "tarts"... More

Good food. Recommend this place if you are looking for a little high end food in College Station. There are good vegetarian options too.

Came here with friends during a weekend trip. It was so good, we ate here twice. Don't miss the mimosa and Bloody Mary bar. Our table bought champagne by the bottle (very reasonable) and did the mimosa bar. Delicious and fun! Tarts and other desserts including creme brûlée cheesecake are wonderful. All of the main course items we had were... More

The last time I was in Aggieland was about 2005. At the time, Café Eccel was in Northgate. Maybe I mis-remembered, but it seems like the menu was a little more varied at the time. I had a margherita pizza, and it was good, but nothing spectacular like I remember. Maybe it's The passage of time or the change in... More

I visited this restaurant today after hearing high recommendations. I was so disappointed. The service was very very, slow. My party only ordered soup and salad. I had to ask numerous times for a refill on water. When we got our food, the Greek salad was swimming in oil. The pear salad also had lots of oil on it and... More

My wife and I went to Cafe Eccel for the first time in several years and it was excellent! The food was awesome and so was the service.

By far one of the best restaurants to visit and converse without obnoxious music blaring over your head. Eclectic menu. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were very good. Rich with seafood. The Creme Brûlée Cheesecake was fantastic.

So disappointed. Waiter had the worst attitude. We both had a light meal of Greek salads, guess he was upset that we were not ordering alcohol. We have been long term patrons. We told about the manager about our experience who basically did not believe us. We have had several other friends have similar experiences. The owner should be alerted,... More

We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner at Eccell recently and left very satisfied. The facilities are really nice and clean. The service was impressive (at least in my vicinity, and I heard no complaints from anyone else). So, now for the food...The appetizers included a bread, quesadilla, and a variety of hummus. Each were exceptional, especially the bread...a cross between... More
