We found that the the ribs were not as well cooked as the CJ's original location. The brisket was poorly cut and had lots of fat. Once again not as good as CJ's original location. Great for the college crowd but not true blue BBQers!!!

The BBQ and all the fixin's are delicious. Tender/juicy brisket. The sides are all very good. And that Peach Cobbler - YUM!

Recommended by a local. Yummy Texas style bbq. Just the right amount of smokey favour. I had pork ribs and brisket. Country ranch mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. All very good!

April 30th, my husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch. He ordered the brisket and I ordered the chicken. His was done and good, as usual. My chicken was pink in several spots and the "white" meat was off white and not done. I brought this to the employees' attention and they called for the "manager." He came... More

Several of us decided to go for a drive and stopped here for lunch. Very good barbeque!!!! Brisket and pork were very tender with right amount of smoke. There are plenty of meat and platter (with sides) options to satisfy any taste. Many in our group opted for the ribs and raved about them. If you go on Sunday get... More

Found this wonderful BBQ spot while visiting Texas A&M. There are other locations but our visit to this one would be hard to beat. You almost drive by it unless you are looking for it. It is on Harvey near Hwy 30. The inside is decorated with metal signs, odds & ends and sports items from the area. What struck... More

Picked up a one meat plate to go last Sunday. I was very disappointed. Most of the ribs were rib jerky, very dry and tough. The ones that were not jerky were still dry and had little flavor. The sauce was the only thing with flavor. However, the sides were very good but that should not be the main attraction... More

Looking for something local instead of national chain so TA had good reviews for this. And it was spot on. Hard to believe this first of 3 locations was a gas station, but an old photo on the wall verifies the fact. But really neat renovations like painted corrugated ceiling and colorful lighted signs hung on planked wooden walls created... More

This is one place you can depend on getting in and out without a long wait on game weekends. If you prefer to dine in, no one makes you feel rushed to give up a table. The jalapeno cheese sausage wrap is great for a "light" meal. Don't pass up the banana pudding!

I like the original location the best. An old convenience store turned into a restaurant. So the ambiance is nothing special but I'm here to eat. Sausage with jalapeno & cheese and the pickled Cole slaw are our favs. Son liked the ribs. Sweet tea is sweet just like if I was in Georgia. I know Fargos is getting all... More
