Sweet Eugene's has been a regular stop for us since our daughter was in school here. We love the coffee, breakfast/brunch goodies, and relaxed atmosphere. The seating areas and decorations are eclectic and cool. We also love their coffee and usually buy a bag or two to tide us over until the next visit.

Sweet Eugene's has many things about a great coffee shop: a bar, solid tables, outdoor patio, a secluded reading room, good looking food and decent "meet your friends to study or talk together" vibe. However, the espresso macchiato was overdrawn, mixed with cold milk and I was sipping on grounds before the end of the cup. The decaf brew I... More

I absolutely love Sweet Eugene's. There is such a variety in what you can order that I don't think you ever have to order the exact same thing twice! The baristas are always very helpful and friendly, and they have often recommended awesome new drinks! The layout is very relaxed and very good for studying, eating, hanging out with friends,... The doughnuts and coffee are great. The ladies that work here are wonderful. The male manager in his 30s is horrid. He has a rotten attitude every time I come here and I have decided I am not going back bc he only gets worse through the years and nothing is done about the guy. Someone who appreciates me driving... This is my ultimate favorite morning stop. Their hot Chia tea is wonderful all year around. I have tried the London Fog and it was decent but I prefer the Chia.

We came to College Station for a soccer tournament with my son. I needed coffee so I went to the Starbucks because it was all I saw. I usually refuse to drink Starbucks. I couldn't even drink it so I pulled up my trip advisor and this little gem popped up. The ambiance here is delightful. The staff is super... More

My hubby and I used to come to Eugene's in the early morning hours of grad school. We went back this weekend during a conference, and was *so* happy to see it hasn't lost its touch. Terrific dark roast (during the weekend, we had regular coffee, a red-eye, and sugar-free americans), and howdy-worthy service. Even picked up a "Eugene Is... More

This is definitely a college area favorite given the amount of students hanging out but don't let that scare you off if you're not one of them. My companion tried the cold Nutty Irishman while I went for the hot snickers coffee and neither drink disappointed. The service was excellent and I wish we had room for pastries as that... More
