A Taste of Italy

I recently had lunch at Luigi's. Overall, I was very pleased. I had the chicken Marsala and the tomato bisque soup. Both were excellent. I paired it with their house Cabernet, which was an adequate addition to my meal! What the proprietor chooses as their house wine is a behind the scenes look at... read more

Four of us went to listen to live jazz band and they were good. Food was excellent. Pizza, salad, lasagna and dessert were ordered. Pizza thin crust with great taste. Cranberry bread pudding an excellent finish to meal. Would recommend to anyone

We had excellent service from Jennifer. All food came out as ordered, the cold was cold, the entrees were hot, the drinks were perfect--especially the chocolate martinis! Love the happy hour prices! This is becoming our favorite restaurant.

We went here for a graduation celebration and I was very disappointed in the food. The food was expensive for what you get and the quality was poor. I ordered the pesto dish and didn't even finish. There was nothing unique about it and I didn't feel like eating a huge bowl of box noodles. The chicken I ordered to... More

Food is fine but nothing special and most of the time service is good. This is americanized Italian food, not the real stuff. Which is a shame because it could be so much better. But on the other hand its the best in town (sigh...)

Hello Mike You are right! We certainly know that we are not the best Italian restaurant in the USA, but we keep trying to prepare our food at our best by using my father's recipes (he was born and did grow up in Tivoli by Rome) and by purchasing mainly local products in order to maintain the prices at an... we were half way trough our journey from Houston to Fort Worth and decided to stop here for lunch. As this was only a quick stop we just ordered a salad and Mushroom and fresh basil pizza (my favorite pizza). Both dishes were ordered to come together. The restaurant offered $3 Mimosa's so I decided to try those. This has... More

I came here for dinner with a group of 14 about a month ago. The food was phenomenal, but the service was really slow. I had seafood Alfredo and it was amazing. Everyone was impressed with their meals, and the food definitely made the evening worthwhile.

We've eaten here quite a few times. The food is fine and the wine selection is good. Unfortunately the service has always been slow/poor each time we've gone. We still go for the atmosphere and Italian food.

We went to Luigi's for a family dinner and everything was perfect. The ambience has a fairly authentic Italian feel and there was even a live trio that evening.

We took several of the kids here to eat on a recent visit. Everyone loved it. The scampi appetizer was fought over. A little more pricey but worth it. Recommend porterhouse & salmon.
