My review would probably be a 5 star except that the ac never works anymore. The past several weeks my drink melts immediately and the machine can’t keep the margaritas frozen. I order less because I don’t feel like drinking I’m so hot. And too...sweaty to take pics because my makeup melts off and my hair and clothes are soaking wet from sweat. I’ve been a regular for a long time but I think I’m going to look for something else. My friends won’t even come in anymore. The bar is empty tonight. I love this place but if the AC doesn’t get fixed y’all will start losing y’all best customers.More

We got take out and it was delicious, hot, and fresh! Our order was spot on, no mistakes. My wife got the coconut chicken and I got the chicken club sandwich and fried pickles. All were spot on.

Around 1:30 PM on Thursday, September 9, 2021, my sister and I stopped for lunch based on a segment from the YOLO Texas TV show. Service was very good. I ate the blackened fish taco which is served in a corn tortilla. The topping enhanced...the flavor of the taco. I enjoyed the tacos. My sister ordered the shrimp tacos which were topped with an unique creamy corn sauce. After lunch we viewed the mammoth tusk exhibit inside the restaurant. A nice lunch in Clute.More

Hubby and I were in town to surprise our family for a high school graduation. We found this gem because of TripAdvisor. Despite being busy, we were seated quickly and server was very personable. Food was beyond delicious and spot on. Hubs had the Fatty...Melt with half fries and half onion rings while I had the jumbo grilled chicken with a side salad with roasted red potatoes. If you're in the area, you shouldn't be disappointed coming here for lunch!!More

Stopped for lunch while driving through a Clute and had a great experience! Restaurant is very quaint, service and food exceeded our expectations. Affordable prices, quality ingredients and everything was homemade. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and our server Mayte was very sweet...and efficient. We will definitely return if in the area.More

My wife had grilled shrimp I had the grilled catfish. Both were very good. Fried cheese cake was not available so we had milk shakes. This is a great lunch place, but not fine dining

Lots of delicious food, gr8 service, and easy to get to! Had enough to take home for a nice breakfast the next day! Excellent across the board, even got a small Christmas fudge from our waitress Miss Pam!

We chose to order take-out from Asiel’s after reading such positive reviews. I had the strawberry pecan salad and my husband had the mac and cheese burger. We also ordered cheesecake. After leaving and being almost back to our rental, Asiel’s called to say they...forgot our two cheesecakes. They actually drove two pieces of cheesecake 20 minutes one-way to fulfill the order! The customer service is top-notch and the food was incredible!!More

We love Asiel's! We eat there often. This Sunday we made reservations at 11:15 and were told there was no waiting, but they were glad we made reservations. We showed up on time and there were several people waiting outside. We told them our reservation...and they said a 15 min wait. Okay not a big deal. 20 minutes later we inquirie again about our table. We were told it would be an additional 20 minute wait.. That they had two groups in front of us! Just very disappointed in Asiel's. Just be honest about times... don't take reservations if it's done first come first served!!More

This place was recommended to me from the local hotel. We recently moved from Frisco TX to Lake Jackson. Lizete was the most attentive and friendly server i have had in a long time. Definitely an asset to the restaurant. Small cozy atmosphere, with seating...on the outside with view of the lake. I enjoyed the Chicken Mozzarella and the Meatloaf. The cheesecake was awesome and bigger than usual size. If you go there ask for Lizete you will not be disappointed.More

Before we moved here this was suggested, So we did try it, great food. Our waitress Lizete was amazing. She always checked on us. The first time we had meatloaf and shrimp and the second time I had chicken with mozzarella and mushrooms. The food...was very good. We ordered a cheesecake for desert and boy talk about great size better than what we expected. They also have a view of the lake. Would highly recommend. I miss this as we are currently going thru the corona virus. First chance we get when this is over is going back.More

Stopped here with a group of friends for late lunch. The service was fast and we did not have to wait long for our meals to arrive. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The chicken fried steak is quite good. Another person in our...group had the blackened shrimp tacos that were delicious. The portions were ample so we did not have room for dessert.More

We were recently in Clute/Lake Jackson area for our granddaughters softball tournament and were checking reviews of restaurants in the area. Asiel’s was one of the top rated restaurants so we decided to eat there because the Wednesday special was “Bacon Lover’s Night”. The food...was excellent and our waitress, Karen, was attentive to our every need. Husband had a special Wednesday only burger that had meat, cheese, bacon, crunchy peanut butter and fried bananas. He said it was delicious. Onion rings were also great. Deep Fried Bacon appetizer was great. I had Bang Bang Shrimp- a little spicy. I got the sauce on the side but they were delicious. We would definitely eat here again. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Manager on duty was Colby and he made a point of checking on our meal and service. Great evening dining experience!!More

It’s a crying shame that we live in Wisconsin because we ate here three times in the week we were nearby! Their blackened catfish was the absolute best I’ve ever had! It’s served on top of a crunchy on the outside and creamy on the...inside potato cake along with two sides (try the roasted brussel sprouts). Everything is made in house including the Bloody Mary mixer which comes with a big ole Texas sized candied bacon strip! OMG So two days after we were there we went back for breakfast and the friendly waitress remembered us, all of the staff is clearly wonderful. So three days later we took four family members who had just arrived. We all ordered different meals so we could try other things. Everything was great although my sister says she thought the shrimp and chicken quesadilla that her son ordered was the best thing she had ever eaten:)More

I went here with family members and a very large group. The staff was professional and did a very good job. I had the Chicken Fried Steak, which was tender and quite good. Actually the best I've had in awhile.
