We ate there for the first time in a while and the pizza was very good. We will be back.
The old owners let it run down and the food was not that good. But now it is very good, and we will be eating there a lot more now.

Royal Pizza is our grand kids favorite place to eat in Clifton. Great pizza and a varied menu. Nicely re-decorated with a friendly, medieval decor. Lots of seating, game room in back. Probably a great place to watch sports with a number of TV screens. Great staff. Recommended.

The pizza has always been very good but with the remodel, the place is much nicer. Eat in or take out.

I love pizza. With that being said, Royal Pizza would never be my first choice, but in Clifton it is pretty much the only choice, They have good specials, the service is good, the delivery is fast and the pizza tastes good enough. Love the cheese bread!

Decided we didn't want to cook, so picked up a pizza from this nice place. We ordered the philly steak pizza and a salad. Was a good choice for the 3 of us. Staff is very friendly. Has been remolded since we were here last summer and looks very nice.
Would recommend .

The fun part was seeing the old school arcade games inside.
The pizza was about on par with something you'd get in the frozen food section of a grocery store though. If I had a choice...I'd probably get Digorno's instead.

They put a lot of cheese and toppings on their pizza. The pizza melts in your mouth!!! Definitely these are pizzas made with a lot of love... Lol
Very friendly people and as many refills on your drinks as you want if you dine in. Extremely clean environment!!! And a game room for kids and adults!!!! What more could a person ever want! Lol! :-)

We drove through Clifton this weekend, and the kids were clamoring for pizza, so we stopped in at Royal. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. They have a clean dining room, TVs with all the games on, fresh iced tea, and great conversation. Everyone we met treated us like old friends. Our 6-year old scarfed down FIVE PIECES of a large cheese pizza— and this kid doesn't eat hardly anything! Our 9-year old was a close second with four pieces of pepperoni. We thought we might have leftovers for the road, but nope! This is a small town spot I'd recommend for the food AND the people inside. 👍🏻👍🏻

The pizza is very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. We don't have pizza often - it is a treat. And, we consider the pizza we had at Royal Pizza in Clifton to be excellent.

I have eat here several times only because my options in this town are limited. Pizza is OK but nothing to get excited about. Spaghetti sauce was basically unseasoned tomato sauce. There are better options in town for pizza and Italian food.

Royal Pizza is a great little pizza joint offering a fresh and delicious alternative to chain pizzarias. The nightly specials are good with both pizza and other Italian recipe options. In particular Royal Pizza's supreme is most certainly a great value for the hungry pizza lover.

This was not the place for us. Friendly people, but the food we had did not give us any reason to return.

A couple of times a year we drive a route that goes through Clifton and Jacksboro, Texas. We always time the trips to have a meal at Dairyland in Jacksboro and Royal Pizza in Clifton. Royal is not the best pizza around but it is sufficiently compelling not to miss. Several of the pizzas, especially the white and spinach alfredo, as well as the calzones and strombolis, are spectacular with just the right amount of crispness and a crust better than most places' breadsticks. Let me put it this way; the dachshund is lucky to get any crusts -- his usual treat. There are three pizza places in Texas that I will go out of my way for; this is one of them.
