I have been to Wade’s numerous times over the years. I have never reviewed the place. The food and service there never disappoint. Just left there a few minutes ago. Crawfish season is over but the shrimp was great. My lips are burning that wonderful...burn. My family is originally from Louisiana and I went to college in Louisiana. It is hard to get that great burn from an east Texas restaurant but Wade’s Place never lets me down.More

This restaurant is "rustic" with non-painted OSB interior walls, and retro tables/chairs along with a country family vibe. What makes it great is the food. Their specialty seems to be seafood. My wife and I live in Phoenix, AZ but were visiting the area to...visit my daughter, son-in-law, and grandsons in a nearby town. The reason we were in Chandler, TX was to look at some investment property we had just closed on in Chandler. Our realtor said that if we were in Chandler, we should try Wade's Place as it was pretty good. No, it wasn't..........It was great! We split 3 lbs of boiled crawfish and a fried catfish basket. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned and came with boiled new potatoes and corn on the cob. The fried catfish basket had 4 pieces with french fries. The catfish was cooked to perfection. No alcohol at this restaurant but I didn't mind.........well, just a little as a cold beer with the food would have been good, but the ice tea was good. Wait staff very friendly. Next time I want to try the fried oyster po-boy..............So, if you are near Lake Palestine and Chandler, you won't go wrong stopping in for a meal at Wade's Place.More

I’d heard this place was pretty good, so we decided to check it out. So glad we did! The service was amazing! The entire staff was attentive and friendly. It’s nice to go somewhere and see all the employees smiling. Great food, served fast!

I’ve been following this page for a while now. My family recently moved to Chandler and were really looking forward to getting to finally eat here. We ordered live crawfish for our traditional Memorial Day crawfish boil. When I placed the order, I was told...they’d be ready any time after 11. Not once was I told I had to be there by 5 or they’d start calling and harassing you. I even offered to pay over the phone for the inconvenience due to a family emergency that prevented me from being there by 5 and it was such a big hassle I canceled my order and will take my business elsewhere. We’ll continue to drive to Big Sandy where customer service is a top priority. PS. It was the owner who called and harassed me the first time.More

My wife's and my first trip o Wade's but certainly not our last. Met some friends there on a beautiful evening and found a nice table on their covered patio, This place was hopping on a Wednesday night. You order and pay for your meal...inside, given a number on a pedestal and food is delivered to your table. My wife and I shared a 5 lb. platter of boiled crawfish that came with corn on the cob and red potatoes. Crawfish are market priced. On our visit, they were $6.99 per lb. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Tried one of my friend's boiled jumbo shrimp and it too was delicious. Looking forward to a return trip.More

My wife and I eat here several times a month and the fried catfish is consistently great. Their fries are unique, crispy, and delicious. You should expect a fairly long line on weekends but it moves quickly and well worth the wait. You can also...BYOB.More

Another small town treasure! It's in an old converted feed store in downtown Chandler and has a great ambience. Also has a store attached with nice fishing shirts, ladies' stuff, etc. Catfish, shrimp, crawfish, ribeyes, free beans....what more could you want? Highly recommended.

Not a better seafood restaurant around.if its seafood you want , this is the place to get it. Great cajun food too.

We really enjoy the food at Wades. There is a pretty good variety of catfish, shrimp, crawfish, in season, burgers steak & always free beans!

Frequently meet family in Chandlerin and this is our preferred spot. We enjoy visiting the shop, co-joined to the restaurant, and sampling from the pot of beans while we wait for our food. Wade's is a local legend. almost always packed. One of the few places in Chandler to get a good meal. when we moved to Chandler, everyone told us we had to try Wade's; so we did. Not real fancy.
