We went for the empanada. They were OK. I thought they were fried a little too long, they were on the dark side. A little expensive for the size priced at $2.99 a piece. Shaking my head. Not worth the money.

We have been going to casa vieja for more than 10 years now and we still go. We really enjoy the ajiaco the last Sunday of the month and their bandeja paisa is good too. The empanadas are great too. They also have great milk/water juices. I recommend the Mora en Leche.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Typical Colombian food with authentic flavor. Also typical decoration in the room

I'm so glad to have finally found a great restaurant that represents my heritage well. Food here is too delicious. If you've never had Colombian food here's some suggestions...... Start of with some Arepas con queso ( these a like smaller thick corn style tortillas stuffed with cheese) these are good appetizers. As a main course try the bandeja paisa... More

I love this restaurant because the food is so similar to my own families food ( & we're from Cali). I love it that all the staff is so nice & friendly & greet you so well when entering the restaurant. The food is far beyond amazing. A must try are both the Arepas con queso & the empanadas, OMG... I've been here twice and loved the food! The owner is from Bogotá so it's very authentic. It is, however, a little pricey, but that is to be expected since it is a specific type of cuisine and not something else like Mexican food.

It is probably the closest place and atmosphere to a typical Colombian restaurant in the Metroplex Area. Among my favorite are Colombian Soups called Ajiaco, Sancocho and Mondongo. This dishes are a whole full meal, not just an appetizer, so don't order more than that. For appetizer you must try the empanadas which are VERY different from Central American Empanadas.... More

back in Jan I wrote a review about the best cuban sandwich on the planet. Well after returning the guy who makes the sandwiches left. So other than that the other food they have is good. Service was good.

The mere truth. I have visited this rest 3 times in the last 3 months or so, with family and with a group. With the group, I made reservations as we were 12 or so. Great service. ( They give you a couple of small bowls with some sauce, as you sit down, and you don't even know what's for.... More

Great authentic Colombian food. Service is sometimes a tad slow but has never been so bad that I have never wanted to return. The bandeja paisa is a great item to select if you want to try a good selection of different items. It is large enough for two people to share.
