Small town cafe that's older than dirt but still serving plain ole country food. Hard to beat the prices. Cheaper than Mackey D's and q0 timer healthier n tasty. Serve daily specials. Worth dining there especially for breakfast. Great service.

The restaurant has been around the block! Kind of like a place you have gone to your whole life. The wait staff is always pleasant! The food is good home cooking!

love the laid back atmosphere. Not fancy, but great food and the wait staff is always so friendly!!! Don't bring your credit card. Only cash and checks accepted.

It's a quaint small town diner experience. They have a nice, affordable breakfast. Lovely lunch and dinner. More of a burger place. Friendly staff. Great small town charm.

Two things to know about this place: It doesn't take credit cards, and it closes at 2:00PM Saturday through Wednesday. With that knowledge, you should be ok. Patty melt is quite good; fries seem to come out of a box. Service is good if a bit amateurish. Fish fry is featured Friday nights. Apparently legendary in the area—caters mostly to... More

Upon entering, you can tell this place has been around for a very long time. It has all the feel of a small town diner. You know that many locals frequent this place. On weekend evenings you may catch a musician playing in the corner. The food is reasonably priced and the few things that I have tried were very... More

We stopped in at Startz Café for breakfast, and boy we were disappointed. My husband said his eggs and biscuits we fine, nothing special, but my pancakes were terrible! Had no taste, therefore, I had to drown them in syrup. Just seemed like they mixed flour and water. Good pancakes should not be hard to make.

I've been here a couple of times. There's not much else to choose from in this area. It was hit and miss until the waitress had a tantrum just like a kid about how busy it was in there. To her defense maybe they did not have enough staff there to help, but I'll NEVER go back.

This is probably the oldest restaurant in the area. The food is home cooking. It is not the best, but it is good. The service is always great. The breakfast is very good. You have to have cash or a check. They do not take credit cards. On a cold snap it is nice to be able to sit close... More

We stopped in here based on reviews off this site. We were not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, the service was great. We liked it so much - we got to go orders to bring home with us. (We only live about 45 mins away from here) I got Huevos Rancheros and my son got the french toast.... More
