Ate with my brother and sister-in-law, who live by the lake. Both the cheese enchilada and cheese relleno were excellent. Service was a bit slow but very accommodating. Beans - excellent, rice - same. I recommend this place for anyone interested in good quality, but...More

Very good salsa and chips! I had cheese enchiladas. They were good, but next time I'll skip the gravy. I like onions in mine...didn't taste any. Our orders came out quickly, which was great!! Friendly waitress. Really liked that lettuce & tomato came with it....More

Had some excellent breakfast tacos. Previously had many good breakfasts and lunches at this establishment when I didn't work too far away. Never once disappointed. Always experienced good service and friendly wait staff.

Nice clean restaurant, friendly waiter Mack and waitresses. The food was piping hot, excellent guacamole. The al pastor was cut in small cubes and very tasty. Tacos were very good, crispy and full of meat, lettuce cheese and tomato. Cheese enchilada was covered in a...More

Good Tex-Mex restaurant. Good service, but sometimes it takes a little long to get the food, especially when it is a little crowded.

Las Barcas is convenient for those in the Canyon Lake area. The menu features a wide range of standard TEXMEX foods as well as a few of the less familiar. Some of the staff are great and helpful, some, not so much. I have found...More

I've been here a couple times before when I visit and have always enjoyed the food. There are a couple of authentic Mexican items on the menu that you usually do not see on a Tex-Mex menu. Menudo and lengua, also known as tripe soup...More

My favorite breakfast is Chilaquiles which is what we ate here. They were pretty good. The ref ride beans were good, but the potatoes could have been crisper. Service was good. I'd go back.

good question; our first visit in July the salsa was very unimpressive and I noted "it won't win any awards" (bland/mild/odd flavor). When we went back a few weeks ago, it was greatly improved....yes, spicy and flavorful. I... More
