Great place. Enjoyed the decor, the train going around the tracks along the ceiling, the wonderful menu! Great staff and great food!

When traveling I seek out local dives and favorites. Feldman's appears to be a local fave in Canyon Texas. My wife had a small portion of chicken fried steak served on Texas toast and a side of mashed potatoes. The steak was tender and breaded up with a nice batter. It was served up with some cream gravy. I had... More

The service was so-so. Sweet little waitress forgot a lot of stuff we would ask for. The complimentary bread is actually Texas toast now, and you have to ask for it. Food was pretty good. We'd probably go back.

We saw the good reviews on Tripadvisor and decided to try this place for lunch. It was about 12:20 on a Wednesday when we visited. We were not greeted when we walked in the door. I walked to the counter and the hostess finally asked how many were in our party. I told her 2 and she asked whether we... More

Our meal was tasty but took along time coming. Was that because we ordered the fried pickles? My first time to eat fried pickles--they were yummy. It is a large restaurant and a little noisy.

We came in on a definite off peak time, after a hot day of visiting the canyon. We ordered some cheese fries to start because the kids were starving. Our server was nice in a "no nonsense" kind of way, just not overly warm, which is fine by me. Cheese fries were great! My salad was good, very large and... More

Had dinner here last night. Shared chicken fried steak & veg out plates. All was wonderful. Peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. Yummy! Fun decor & good service. Would definitely go back!!

I had a business meeting with some colleagues from out of town. One of them wanted to try Feldman's, so away we went. It was at lunch time and they were busy. Our waitress was good as well as polite. Everything was clean and neat. We received our orders and the food was alright. This place just didn't seem to... More

Good, friendly service. Tasty food with local flare. Located in the middle of town and close to WTAMU. Doesn't disappointed.

My 1st thought was this is not a good place because they sat us in a dining room where the AC was not working!! We were a large party & they said they had no other tables to accommodate us! I said we would wait for a table-took 15 minutes but well worth the wait! We would have been miserable!... More
