I had very low expectations for a food concession in a state park, but i was pleasantly surprised by the Trading Post in Palo Duro Canyon. The burger was good quality and properly cooked, and they have a fairly well equipped "fixings" bar so you...More

Stopped by after a hike and wanted to rehydrate. The ice cream is excellent. Nice gift shop but so many of the things are made in China. Wish they had Texas made stuff. Oh and the geocache is there and in good shape.

We did not eat here, instead we were looking for souvenirs for relatives. If you have the Texas Parks Pass, this store does not offer the discount. It is a concessionaire-run business instead of park-owned.

We didn't go here to eat but you can if you like. We were interested in the gift shop which has a few items you might like for a souvenir.

Apparently they have world famous burgers. We didn't try any but the ice cream was delicious. The appear to have necessary items for camping and a lot of souvenirs.

My husband, daughter, and I got some ice cream here after completing the Lighthouse Trail. They had several flavors to choose from. We got Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough. This is also the place to get Palo Duro T-shirts, coffee mugs, stuffed animals, and...More

Their burgers are great and you can build your own from the condiments/fixin’s station. French fries are thick cut. Employees seem like they could care less if you dropped dead in front of them but that seems to be the way of things these days.

This is a neat little shop but it needs updating. The shirts are outdated and need to be more "hip" and not just cotton. The food prices need to be lowered and menu options expanded. As the only place in the Canyon to get food...More

This is the "trading post" in the canyon--it is food and supplies only. There is no show. The burger may have been $8 with the fries and a couple of bucks for a drink. It is a great burger for a low price. This is far... More
