We really enjoyed the elk and bison burgers. The onion rings were amazing. Service was great and everyone was friendly. We will be stopping every time we go through Canton.

Expected a small burger menu. Nope! Lots of exotic meats. Also had a huge variety of ice cream and toppings. Lots of the typical Texas favorites. Have to go back and try the Boar burger. Tots looked like the bomb, but I passed.

Good morning LeeDogDallas_TX, Reads like possibly this was your first trip to the Dairy Palace Restaurant of Canton? Glad you enjoyed your visit as I read no complaints with us earning your 4-star rating. At last count, we have 26 varieties of hamburgers. Ate here while at First Monday Trade Days. There is always a crowd of people here. Had an Elk Burger and milk shake. All tasted great.

I'd like to start off by saying that we did go on the Sunday before 4th of July and the first Monday of the month. I'm assuming this played a part in the ridiculous line to order. Although the line was long, it went relatively fast. The staff taking my order was very nice and patient with me while I... More

Good morning Tirzah! Thank you for qualifying your comment on the long line. First Monday Tradedays weekend can be hectic here at the DP - for both, Customers and Employees. We REALLY appreciate it when Customers like you take into consideration the number of Customers being served. Our Front and Kitchen Employees work extremely hard to, ultimately, deliver great tasting... More

Hi Shawn, Thank you for giving the Dairy Palace Restaurant of Canton a try. Our burgers are made from all beef chuck that we cut, grind and pat on premise. Then, we cook per order unless it's customer high volume in which case, we do try to stay ahead in hopes to lessen wait time. Sincerely, JW, Owner More

My boyfriend and I saw their sign from the interstate claiming to have The Worild's Beat Burgers and couldn't resist seeing for ourselves. We were only able to hit their drive thru, so I can't testify about the ambiance or service, but their burger meat selection is second to none. Randy chose the elk burger and I decided on a... More

I have heard so much about this place and well the burgers are ok. Now of course it's better than Wendy's and most fast food burger joints but the burger was average to me. The onion rings are good and the ice cream.

My wife and I stopped off here while traveling. We've got over 80 combined years of burger ingestion between the two of us. I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and cajun fries. We split the burger (2/3 lb.) She said it was the best burger she has ever had. It was truly amazing. Not sure exactly why it was... More

Overall great experience.... we came in with a large group of 40+ people. They were fast and very accommodating. The food was a little on the greasy side but that is par for the course....
