Went through the drive thru tonight and ordered a burger, steak finger basket, steak sandwich and a chili dog. When we got the food home it was still warm and smelled great. We loved all the food and will be back soon.

Hello Brad, We are thrilled that you loved our food and plan to come back soon. Thank you for choosing Dairy Palace. Your comments are going to be shared with all of our employees.
Burgers look pre made and are dry with not much taste. Not a lot to say about this place except would not eat here again. Maybe I should open a five guys next door and see how long this place stays in business.More
Dear Flotexark, We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your burger. Anytime a customer is not satisfied we hope that they will tell the manage on duty so that the issue can be fixed immediately. Another option is to call our office at...More
The fried fish was dry and tasted like stale oil. The onions weren’t worth eating. Cole slaw was adequate. Thirty years ago it was excellent, but something has gone wrong. I think thrives on tourists that need never come back.More
We are so sorry that your visit was not what you were hoping. We will be looking into your reported issues and what steps we took to remedy your issues. Next time you are in please let the manager know so that any issues can...More
After many yrs of grabbing a burger here; and having 3 not so good experiences, I had decided to stay clear of the burgers here for awhile. So, this visit I decided to sample their “supposedly” made in house chicken fried steak with breakfast. Served...with eggs, hash browns, toast or biscuits. First of all, I asked the lady at the counter, if this steak is homemade: She replied “Yes!”… If so, I need to commend the cook for cutting this piece of leather into a perfect circle. However, it’s clear this patty is pre-made: Not only from the shape, but the breading, texture, and taste. The patty is about 1/4” thick before breading: and the flavor just wasn’t there. Add to that, it was tougher than a Texas judge… Probably the worst example of an attempt at CFS I’ve ever tried. Then, the eggs were brought out medium instead of over easy, as ordered. They do serve you 2 biscuits: But they were dry and bland. Food gets a 1: and that’s being generous. Service was friendly… At one time I’m sure this place was one of Canton’s better burger options. And the mishaps from a few over-cooked burgers could be a couple of simple issues… But after what was served here as a breakfast option today, the recent puzzling issues seem to be self explanatory. If you’re looking for a fresh made from scratch breakfast, keep looking.More
We are saddened that you have had a few visits that were not what you had expected. Anytime you are not pleased with your order, please let one of the managers know.
This is a burger, breakfast place with awesome food you won’t be disappointed for sure. They have ice cones stacked an it’s blue bell don’t pass this place up while in canton texas
Thank you for the kind words and for visiting us. We hope you are able to come back soon.
There is nothing special about their menu, the restaurant itself is dingy and has a dirty feeling. The parking lot is always packed and I don't know why they are so popular. Much better food places around Canton.More

1950s Diner. Very very big menu. Fried Pies are great. Ice Cream is great. Easy to locate. Parking is ok. Drive-Thur too.
Thank you for taking the time to dine with us and to write a review. We hope you are back soon. We would really like the chance to earn a 5 star review from you.
Texas best! I am amazed at the selection of hamburgers here. They have 3 different veggie burgers as well as a fish selection. I have stopped here for years and always enjoyed the food.
You have made our day with your review. Thank you for being a long time customer. We appreciate you!
That’s their hook to pull you in! Whoever voted them worlds greatest needs to have their burger card revoked. It took forever to get through the line and when it finally arrived it was sub par. While everything was fresh it was very bland. Not...a lot of seasoning or flavor. Locals recommended JT’s downtown for burgers, but it was too late!More

I have had decent burgers, onion rings and tots here. I stopped by today and got a foot long chili cheese dog. I could not eat it. It was salty and had an off taste. Too bad.More

Have been going to DP for years and had a bad experience. My wife found a hair in her food and discreetly brought it to the attention to the owner and he accused her of putting it there herself even though it was a long...blonde hair and she had dark brown hair because she ate most of it already. She then went back to another employee and they replaced it. The owner came to us and said I see you came back to get the food replaced and asked where we were from and we said that doesn’t matter. He continued to accuse her of putting the hair in the food so she started cussing him out and said he shouldn’t be playing Christian music since he’s a hypocrite. She threatened to turn into the health department and he told us never come back and he was calling the police on us. Very poor customer service especially for an owner of a business. This could’ve been handled and all would’ve been fine, but the owner insisted on escalating thing with his inflated ego. All this over a $4 baked potato and making a scene and losing us as customers. Not recommended to support a business like this and reason to believe the owner is racist and wonder if he would’ve acted differently if my wife was white. Days are numbered for Dairy Palace before they eventually meet their demise and that’s ashamed and they have some great employees and food normally good, but actions like this from a business owner shouldn’t be supported by customers. I’ve seen others that had complaints about this owner and also threatened to call the police on them too. So long Dairly Palace.More
From the signs and the exterior you would expect this to be a typical burger joint. No Way. Oh there are lots of burger made from every kind of critter you can imagine (and probably a few you can't) and from past visits they are...very good. On this trip we had a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy and a biscuit. Not the greatest CFS I've ever had but from a burger joint??? Excellent. Who could have expected that? The biscuit was more dinner roll than biscuit but I ate all of it and wanted more. The seven million flavors of hand dipped ice cream (I may have exaggerated that just a tad) was an unexpected bonus. Don't miss this place.More

Serves BF L D. Diner with Ice Cream Bar. Drive-Thur. Average food. But Fruit Pies are good according to my Wife. Not Open 24 hours any more.
Thank you for letting us know how you enjoyed your experience! We appreciate you stopping in. Hope to see you back soon!
On the way to Caddo Lake, we stopped off in Canton for a bite to eat. First sign we saw was for "Dairy Palace". We pulled up to their "World Famous Burgers" signage and went in to order. The have "Exotic" burgers...Venison, Elk, Smoked Duck,...Bison, Catfish, Wild Boar, Turkey and SPAM! We ordered Elk and Duck. The Elk was gamey and juicy. The Duck was pastrami-style slices of breast, smoked and moist. The buns were STANDOUT and both sandwiches with a housemade plum sauce! Fries were delicious, though, not crispy. 100% a must go to again location if in the area!More
