I've heard people talk about this place for years and recently read another great article so we decided to use 2 days of the holiday to come out. So glad we did! Great staff and atmosphere, quick service. The margaritas are strong! Food was excellent...and steaks were cooked to perfection. Sides and dessert were great too!More

Once again an excellent dinner by Tom Perrini!, we celebrated a girlfriends 70 birthday and they let us decorate the table and made us feel welcome. You can cut their filets with a fork! And the Blue Cheese salad is so yummy! The bread!! Matthew...was our waiter and I’m sure he took about 300 pics of us and still was attentive to our needs. A shout out to the crew that takes care of their vacation houses. What a wonderful place to stay.More

This is an old school ranch style steak house. The staff was amazing and specifically our server was super polite and perfectly attentive without being over the top. The food was perfectly prepared. Our steaks were seared exactly to our request. Looks like every item...on the menu is scratch made. We had a Harvest Moon mixed drink which seemed like their take on an old fashioned.....delicious and I highly recommend. Dessert (bread pudding) was the perfect topper to the meal. If you are in the area and don't make the trip you're missing out. This is a destination place to dine.More

This restaurant was truly an experience. We came for the evening, the steaks were fantastic and the service was as great. The manager helped us with recommendations for what to do the next day. I would highly recommend people taking the trip to the Perini...Ranch to experience it (although maybe not when it is 106 degrees outside… their air conditioning isn’t great but they have a good outdoor space).More

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant in the month of March and it was amazing. Had the quail legs for the app and my son and myself both ordered steaks. The atmosphere and the food are worth the drive, loved the jalapeno cheesecake...for dessert. I live in IL but this restaurant is definitely worth the trip.More

I have a lot of burgers, in a lot of different places, but this one stands out big time for me. The Ranch Burger at Perini Ranch was an experience of flavors at lunch the other day. The Ranch Burger at the Perini Ranch Steakhouse...is a half-pound of 100% ground chuck, seasoned, hand patted and grilled. Here with cheddar cheese, provolone and topped with grilled mushrooms, green chiles, and onions served up with chips.More

We went to Perinis for lunch to celebrate our son's birthday. Good food and great service. But why have a lunch menu when the prices are no different than the dinner menu? Our son had the pepper strip which was much better than the ribeye...my husband had. For the money spent,, the sides could be bigger. Love the rustic feel of the place.More

I have ordered the Peppercorn Tenderloin from Perini Ranch 3 times, for my parents in Georgia. the last two times it has been late, this last order was to be delivered on 12/21/21, it is past 2PM on 12/22/21 at my parents house and their...Peppercorn still has not arrived. I called the Perini Ranch business number and their response was that they cannot control the delivery end, but that if the meat was spoiled when it finally arrived I could file a claim with Fedex. The Peppercorn Tenderloin is very good but the customer service is severely lacking in my opinion. This is my last time ordering from Perini Ranch and I would recommend you ask detailed questions about delivery and what happens if there are issues before you place an order with them.More

Excellent bone in rib-eye with delicious salad. We shared the Cowboy Bone in Ribeye which is 22 oz, and added an extra salad- the chopped salad with lots of blue cheese! Excellent! 2 cocktails and a glass of wine. Bill was right at $100 plus...tip! Worth every penny!! We would drive 3 1/2 hours here now and then, just to enjoy this meal!!More

I was in town for the Buffalo Gap bike ride. Five of us made reservations about 2-3 weeks in advance. Additionally, we set our time for 3:30 in the afternoon to ensure we got indoor seating and the coveted air conditioning in the 100 degree...July heat. Perini Steakhouse is a rustic one-story building setup in the mesquite covered prairie of west Texas. Old post oak trees cover the tin roof and split barn wood walls. Indoor seating is very limited with ten tables or so. Out back is a large yard filled with picnic tables. Some are covered by tarps and wood structures. Others are fully exposed to the elements. Wagons, split wood fences, and other farm implements surround the outdoor seating. It's hot seating in the summer and cold in the winter. The food and service are wonderful. My sister-in-law has been here eight times. She makes the 2 hour drive from DFW for special events. I get why. The people are polite, genuine and make you feel welcome in their home. My filet was perfectly cooked medium rare as ordered. It was so good. The green chile hominy was divine. So were the cowboy potatoes and blue cheese chopped salad. The bread pudding was a perfect end to a great meal. It's not cheap. Our total with tax and tip was $480 for five people. $100 a head puts this in fine dining pricing, but I enjoyed every thing about it. Now, if I was sitting outside sweating in July, I'd probably be at one star! We are coming back in the fall. We are going to rent one of their bunk houses and take advantage of the full experience.More

Four of us for dinner last night. Three ordered steaks, all ribeyes and one ordered fried catfish. Catfish was great! Two of the three steaks were cooked the way we ordered but they were pretty much room temperature. One was not done enough and was...sent back. It was fine and hot. The very best thing were the jalapeño cheese grits that we ended up ordering twice. Had a side dish of zucchini but was extremely Italian tasting. Great for an Italian restaurant. One person ordered cheesecake. It came out a VERY small slice with a jalapeño on the top with a slightly sweet syrup over it. Don’t bother ordering. We believe the steaks were precooked because they were not hot. All in all, can not recommend. Appears to be a lot of hype at least for that night.More

Perini's never disappoints. The perfect food and raw perfect ambience. The service was amazing and the waiter was knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. The steak was cooked EXACTLY how I wanted it and presented beautifully. My martini was perfectly prepared and served ice...cold. If you are even remotely a fan of vodka, you MUST get the Perini-tini. The meal started with the best jalapeno poppers you can get in Texas. Not kidding. The sides were hot and perfectly complimented the meal. Impressive wine list, and I was able to quickly find a red to pair with my steak. This gem is worth the drive. If it takes a moment to prepare your table, or if you get there early, the seats out back have such a great view....you can sit out there and sip a Texas beer and forget that you're waiting! Side note: get your reservations in if you really need a specific date and time. They fill up quick!More
