Food is always hot and good. Atmosphere is a little cramped. Reasonably priced. I have had to wait for a seat at busy times.

The food is always great and the waitstaff is always willing to go the extra mile to make the customers happy. I used to live down the road in Kyle, but we always went to Garcia's because it was worth the drive.

Wonderful food from a small restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal even though it was outside my norm. On our friends suggestion, we had the yellow queso and It had depth and character! It was not at all the thinned out nacho cheese from a pump with canned jalapeños that is so prevalent everywhere. The enchilada special was amazing and I... More

Not a huge fan of the normal Mexican food, but the second or third time I ate here, it was all about the Fido, carne guisada, and refried beans. Love the food, and the staff is the best I have ever had. Truly love it and eat it.

Lots of choices in town, this one is great! Tried the others and was pleasantly surprised as our last hope. Service was quick, patio was great on a temperate day. Always on the hunt for good tortilla soup, and found it!

We went the first time for a late lunch, not very busy, were seated right away. However, it took about 10-12 minutes to actually get a menu and only because we asked for one. Thank goodness they have tasty chips and salsa. We ordered and the food and prices are great. No fancy stuff just good cooking. Second visit, went... More

As seen from the street, Garcia's might be easily-overlooked, but there are lots of surprises and they're all good ones. The appearance is rather basic the restaurant -- a remodeled old house on Buda's Main Street -- but there is a spacious veranda with a number of tables to supplement the small rooms indoors. And the food and service are... More

Went here for breakfast and although the wait is a little inconvenient, you will be glad you waited. They have the best fluffiest pancakes- luv them- soo yummy. If u want to add the Mexican twist get your eggs scrambled with some chorizo mixed into it- so good - you get the best of both worlds. Service is good. Tortillas... More

Quaint restaurant, friendly service. Casual atmosphere. They literally cook for the day - so get here early, they may just run out of one of your favorites :)

While visiting the Austin area, several locals recommended Garcias in Buda. I had to try it. I was first impressed over the line of folks waiting for a table for lunch. That's always a good sign. The place is small but has a patio for outside dining (it was a tad cold that day but people were out on the... More
