If You Like Italian Food Nonna Gina's Will Become A Mainstay

Living in Buda makes it an easy visit to Nonna Gina's. When I first moved to Buda it was one of the few better quality restaurants in the historic district. That has changed over the past few years but Nonna Gina's continues to be an eating destination for our family for various occasions. I'll... read more

A friend advised us to give Nonna Gina's a try, we were not disappointed. Nice little dining room with traditional Italian décor. Our Server was Annie - she was awesome, very informative making excellent suggestions both in the food & wine category. We split the lasagna & a meatball pizza. The lasagna had a great flavor, the sauce was a... More

Great food, fast friendly service.Like a mom and pop shop. Locals say it's the best Italian in town. Went there often on our visit.

My husband and I have been to Nona Gina's several times. The food had been pretty good. But awhile back I saw the owner get very rude with another customer. I didn't know the whole story so I blew it off as the owner maybe having a bad day and perhaps the customer being unreasonable. On this visit my husband... More

The food was good, the atmosphere pleasant. If going on a date, I definitely recommend eating after 7:00 pm if possible (traffic can be heavy before that, which distracts from the quaintness of the venue). The staff was friendly, and there is something amusing about a charming attempt at an Italian venue located in the heart of Texas BBQ country.... More

I always enjoy going here for dinner. There food is fresh and tasty and their specialties always wonderful. It is a little expensive and small but great!

My husband and I went to Nonna Gina's for Valentine's Day planning to get our favorite meals. He had made reservations and we were extremely excited since we have always enjoyed the quaint environment and good food. Unfortunately, since it was a special occasion, they had a certain menu where you only had a couple of options for dinner. For... More

Went in for pizza, but the oven wasn't working so we tried the specials. The one waiter who was also tending bar, was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was very tasty and there was a fairly good selection of beer. We also split some of the desserts. Overall, it was very good.

Every appetizer is a must. The meatballs are fabulous and the pizza is top notch. I enjoy the friendship bread with the olive oil mix for dipping.

I love this place they have really good pasta and the specials are decent. We went there 2 weeks ago for pizza and they said there ovens were down. That night we ordered some pasta and had a good meal. Two nights I go there with my dad and we wanted to order pizza. We waited 5 minutes and the... More
