We were looking for a nice meal on the way from Houston to Temple TX and I read the reviews for this place on Trip Advisor and we're so glad we stopped! There was a bit of a wait for a Friday night but that's to be expected. The service, food and portions were wonderful and for a price that... More

We were a group of 10 so the menu was good due to variety of options. The portions were huge! We went on a weekday night and it was crowded but only had to wait 10 minutes . . . service was fast once we ordered and food served promptly too. Again the portions were large and could easily split... More

Excellent food, I had rib eye, the others had a Prime Rib and one had chicken. everything was great. we ate here twice in the same week. both times our wait was pretty short, but the second trip here on Thursday evening could have turned long (there was a line out the door). Food is just excellent. and large portions.... More

I have been to Sodolak's several times and I am pleased every time. I usually go with the 14oz open flame ribeye. It comes with 2 sides of your liking. I have also had the kabobs and they were delicious as well. I recommend the famous chicken fried bacon, it's a must!

Sodolaks is a local favorite, as you can tell by the full parking lot! It is worth the wait though and everything we have tried on the menu is good, and the service is friendly.

Have eaten there several times and always enjoyed the service, the meal and the surroundings. Nothing flashy or fancy, just a good meal at a fair price, served by really nice staff. That's not too bad these days...

This is one of our favorite stops on the way home from a visit to VAMC Temple since we live in College Station. We frequent here a lot! We started out with Beefmaster Fries that come with an abundance of cheese and bacon with a dish sauce to dip which we shared as well as two Zeigenbock Texas long-neck cold... More

We ate here on the advice of the staff at our hotel. It is definitely popular, the parking lot was jammed with locals. The greeter was friendly as was the staff. We ordered Rain Cajun which was Buffalo spiced chicken bites. It came with homemade Ranch dressing, yum! My daughter got a burger and said it was good. The Chicken... More

We eat her all the time and the food is good but the mashed potatoes are no longer real they are instant potatoes now and if you're like me I can tell the difference, other than that everything is great with a great price the best waitress her name is Kelly she is super sweet and nice she's been there... Wonderful place and out of the way of the normal traffic. The grilled chicken breast is delicious. The steak is also very, very good.
