This is the place to go for a great burger and cold drinks in a turn of the century atmosphere . Been a Texas Aggie tradition for years .

First off, love the atmosphere. Cool old decor. TVs around for sports fans. Staff was very friendly. Food was okay at best. We got a chicken fried steak and a hamburger and "average" is as good as I could give it. Probably will not return.

This is an old gas station converted to a restaurant that serves THE best burgers in College Station/Bryan, Texas. Tasty and delicious!

The chicken oil co is a large wooden shack that's situated on a bombed out Parking lot in Bryan Tx Usually you would Describe such a place by next saying it's not much to look at but that is not the case here. It's an awesome place to look at. Think of a whole place decorated with what you would... More

Located in a very log cabin, rustic building - I would give the atmosphere a large plus. Most popular item is the burger and fries and the burger is very good.

If you are in Aggieland-that's College Station, home of Texas A&M University to the in enlightened, you have to Stop at Chicken Oil Company for lunch or dinner. You can spend hours looking at everything hung on the walls or hanging from the ceiling but the extensive menu will make choosing what to eat tough! Try the huge double meet... More

I've eaten here several times. Burgers are always good but a little overpriced. The pitcher of beer seemed a little flat.

I REALLY wanted to like this place because the decor and atmosphere are great!! The bathrooms were DISGUSTING!!! They ran out of lids for the "to go" drinks we ordered & onion rings but didn't tell us about being out of either when we ordered. They substituted with onion & jalapeños strips that were ice cold and hard as rocks!... More

We waited over an hour for our late lunch to arrive. Our girls enjoyed their burgers, but the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steaks were less than appetizing. The salad was fresh and crisp. The fries were also fresh. However, the main course tasted as if the oil used to fry it was old. We're not likely to return... More

Absolutely great ambiance with good food. Don't miss it if you're visiting Aggieland. Cheap food but tastes great, and typical of College Station Aggies- friendly and welcoming.
