I REALLY wanted to like this place because the decor and atmosphere are great!! The bathrooms were DISGUSTING!!! They ran out of lids for the "to go" drinks we ordered & onion rings but didn't tell us about being out of either when we ordered. They substituted with onion & jalapeños strips that were ice cold and hard as rocks!... More

We waited over an hour for our late lunch to arrive. Our girls enjoyed their burgers, but the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steaks were less than appetizing. The salad was fresh and crisp. The fries were also fresh. However, the main course tasted as if the oil used to fry it was old. We're not likely to return... More

Absolutely great ambiance with good food. Don't miss it if you're visiting Aggieland. Cheap food but tastes great, and typical of College Station Aggies- friendly and welcoming.

Chicken Oil is one of the best places in Bryan to grab a burger and a beer . Have been going there for over 25 years. They have great chicken fried steak as well. Anytime I go back to visit I try to grab a burger. Nice laid back atmosphere .

This is a local hotspot. Great food....several nights with live entertainment. Rustic and eclectic decor. Try the snuff burger/special. Or, if you can take the heat, the death burger. On top of that the staff is warm & friendly. This is a favorite of locals, stop in and find out why!! Check out the huge fireplace ☺

I was there about a week ago...first time in a while. It was as good as I remember and the staff on duty that night was really nice. Service was quick.

Its a nice place for grilled chicken and burgers. The grilled chivken is cooked very well. The ambience is very southern. The place is very cabin like.

The old-fashioned, nostalgic décor is what I liked best about the Chicken Oil Company. It gives this place character. However, I found the food to be just okay. Good but nothing special. I did not try any of the beer or alcoholic beverages. Food is probably better with a frosty mug!

My husband and I went in for lunch. The counter people saw my husband's cap (he was wearing a Army-Viet Nam cap) and asked if he was in the Army after we had ordered our food from a menu behind the counter, my husband said yes. They honored him by giving him his meal 'On The House', and thanked him... More
