Don't get me wrong - the pizza place across the street is good, too - but it cannot compare to the quality of the pizza from Mr. G's. The food is excellent at an affordable price, and the calzones live up to the reputation as "Big Baby". The owner, Mr. G will come out and talk to you as well... More

Went here while helping my sister move in to college station. I can honestly say this is the first time i threw half of a pizza away. Not good mr g. The worst part is that on the website theres an old guy (i assume "mr g") with a fat cheesy pizza that looks amazing but when you get the... More

This is the only place in Brazos County to get authentic pizza and calzone. The service can be a bit sketchy, but who cares--would you rather have fake courtesy or the best pizza in central Texas? Mr. G is the real deal.

Pizza is great but the owner is very rude. Will not let you order a pizza the way you like it. It has to be what's on his menu. Just not good business when you have someone so rude speak the way he does to his customers.

We went to Mr. G's on a Friday night. It was busy but not crowded. Our waitress was distracted and very hurried any time she came by our table. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and requested that they add jalapenos to it. The waitress offered to bring me some on the side but would not add it to the pizza.... More

The pizza here is ok and actually pretty tasty. There are certainly other places in town that are better and by quite a bit. Still worth a visit.

My husband and I went in for lunch and had the huge Meatzone (calzone). Highly recommend it. It was delicious and we were in and out in a good amount of time. Mr G was there checking on things as well.

A trio of us eat here often. The food and service are always stellar. Mr. G is there to see to it along with welcoming customers and occasionally bussing tables when they are busy. The place isn't fancy, it has more of a homey vibe, which I like. My personal favorite is the margarita pizza with a Greek salad. The... More

Best option for a good non chain pie. They will tell you the calzone is huge and they aren't kidding. It's enough for two to three people

I've eaten here several times & most of the time everything is great. BUT, the last time I was not happy. My son's & I walked in & right after we walked in another group showed up. Well apparently the owner knew the other group & they seriously ignored us. We asked for a table & were told sit anywhere,... More
