This is the only place in Brazos County to get authentic pizza and calzone. The service can be a bit sketchy, but who cares--would you rather have fake courtesy or the best pizza in central Texas? Mr. G is the real deal.

Pizza is great but the owner is very rude. Will not let you order a pizza the way you like it. It has to be what's on his menu. Just not good business when you have someone so rude speak the way he does to his customers.

We went to Mr. G's on a Friday night. It was busy but not crowded. Our waitress was distracted and very hurried any time she came by our table. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and requested that they add jalapenos to it. The waitress offered to bring me some on the side but would not add it to the pizza.... More

The pizza here is ok and actually pretty tasty. There are certainly other places in town that are better and by quite a bit. Still worth a visit.

My husband and I went in for lunch and had the huge Meatzone (calzone). Highly recommend it. It was delicious and we were in and out in a good amount of time. Mr G was there checking on things as well.

A trio of us eat here often. The food and service are always stellar. Mr. G is there to see to it along with welcoming customers and occasionally bussing tables when they are busy. The place isn't fancy, it has more of a homey vibe, which I like. My personal favorite is the margarita pizza with a Greek salad. The... More

Best option for a good non chain pie. They will tell you the calzone is huge and they aren't kidding. It's enough for two to three people

I've eaten here several times & most of the time everything is great. BUT, the last time I was not happy. My son's & I walked in & right after we walked in another group showed up. Well apparently the owner knew the other group & they seriously ignored us. We asked for a table & were told sit anywhere,... More

First time trying Mr G's and it was wonderful!!! Waitress was very good and sweet. My daughter and I went for lunch after her Dr appt. We were the first ones there. We had a spinach Alfredo pizza and it was plenty big. Loved the old Sinatra music. The pizza was so cheesy the crust was so crispy and light.... More

This was a great place for a family get together. Great Pizza and Italian food with an amazing and friendly staff. Small and intimate and very cost effective. The Pizza place is shared with an Italian Restaurant next door and you can order from both menus. I love the Lasagna and the family enjoyed the Pizza and Calzone. The Calzone... More
