After a disappointing evening meal at a local Italian restaurant, we went back to J. Cody's where we had been a couple of times before on previous trips. The staff was extremely friendly, the prices were decent, the food was great, and everyone walked away...More

I have been to J. Cody's several times now and I love it every time. My only gripe is I have still not had the ribs! They always run out so they must be good. I will definitely return to J. Cody's on my annual...More

you walk in and pick your entree, then you sit and they bring you your meal, good dry rub style BBQ and good size steaks, with a side buffet to pick from. Stormchaser says give it a try

This is the place to go for real Texas cuisine in Bryan. Their BBQ is very good, they make a good burger, but their rib-eye is where it's at! One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The restaurant features a great, rustic Texas atmosphere....More

It has it's place, but it is not worth making a special trip to. The service is a bit strange for a BBQ place. I had the brisket and it was a bit dry and the sides were average. Over all, it's average.

Went for the Ribeyes. Ordered three steaks. All very very fatty. Was expecting much better. Brisket was very dry. We did arrive at 8:45pm which is 45 minutes before they close. Also ran out of baked potatoes too.

You can go lots of places for BBQ but what I always like about this place is not only the BBQ but also good steaks and sides. People are always friendly and care that you are taken care of.
