It's been a while since I dined at Carter's, so today I decided to have lunch there today. I'm so glad I did. I ordered The Texan burger basket. The fries were piping hot and tasty, and the burger was oh so good! The Texan is a half-pound burger (two patties) with all the normal things plus American cheese (I... More

Before all the development took place in the BCS area, Carter’s Burger was the burger place to go. We revisited this place after being absent for several years. The dining room got remodeled, the menu has changed, and some items are still the same. They still sell ice cream, and the like. I was in the mood for fried fish,... More

I wanted to like this place. My husband had read good reviews, printed their menu and they have lots of different burgers. As soon as I stepped in, my shoes were sticking to the floor. How does a floor get this sticky after 1 day? Really? We opted for the Carter's burger combo and all three of ours were made... More

We had maverick burgers and seasoned fries. The Nolan Ryan meat that they use for their burgers is so good! It makes the burgers! This spot is a great choice! Try their shakes with blue bell ice cream!

Was pleasantly surprised by this small little "café" style burger joint. The burgers were fresh, well seasoned and decent portion size. I tried the Baby Bonfire and it was SPICY but so delicious. Their season fries were the best part. They even have an ice cream bar area and daily specials.

This store, like all the Carter's Burger/TX Burger stores serves top quality burger joint fare. The beef for the burgers is fresh ground daily on site. They also have hand dipped Blue Bell ice cream to tempt your sweet tooth.

My wife my son and I ate there this past Tuesday. We each ordered something different: a burger, chicken sandwich, turkey melt, regular fries and seasoned fries. Yes the wait was longer than Five Guys but it was well worth it!

This is a great fast food joint, a step up from a chain place. Mom and I each had steak finger baskets with tea and our total was $15. Great and fast service. We didn't get desert although their cookies looked delicious! And they serve Bluebell :)

Been here several times, in and out and on your way. The burgers are a step up from Sonic or Dairy Queen. Like them in Madisonville too, they maybe Texas Burgers there.

Great food! Best sweet potato fries I've eaten and my BLT was perfect. My husband enjoyed his burger. Eclectic choices in burgers. Fun ambiance, a little quirky, very Texan, the right amount of Aggie. MUSIC WAS NOT TOO LOUD! What a relief after other college town eateries. I could have heard my date if he'd have talked to me. ..... More
