Delicious food was served by friendly waiter in a timely manner during lunch rush hour. Very pleased with the food and service! This Grill is in a historic Inn and is gorgeous and quaint. Great for couples, friends or business meetings. I saw all three taking place during my visit.

This is located inside The Ant Inn in downtown Brenham. It is small but the menu is large. We were trying to find a place still open after 6 pm on a Thursday night and this was the only place we could fine. We just had burgers, but all of the other food around us looked delicious. Burgers were great... More

We had dinner. Pork chops for me and Fajitas for wife. Pork chops were excellent and came with mashed potatoes -- excellent - and best green beans -- I have had in years. Wife's fajitas for one was more than ample serving and also very good and came with rice and beans as well as a dish of onions, tomatoes,... More

We've eaten here before and really liked it. We stopped again for lunch on a Sunday. Waitstaff brought a piece of ciabatta bread, butter and olive oil dipping sauce, which was very good a tasted as though it had real and fresh herbs in the oil. I ordered the chopped sirloin with mashed potatoes and my lunch companion ordered the... More

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Very friendly staff and attentive service. Nice atmosphere for a diner style lunch (how heavy do you think that big light is?) and the food was very good. We will return!

My lovely wife tried the chicken parmigiana with ravioli, and I ordered the pork chops. We both had a dinner salad, and I also requested a fried okra side. Everything was really good. We would definitely come back. Warning to fathers with young boys--cover their eyes before you take them to the bathroom--the walls are decorated with lovely ladies, wearing... More

This restaurant is located in the same building as the historic Ant Street Inn, and the historic decor carries over into the restaurant, including an impressive chandelier in the ceiling and other little touches. We had two breakfasts here (part of the package at the Ant Street Inn), and while our meals were fine, there was really nothing outstanding about... More

We recently stayed next door at the Ant Street B&B and ate both dinner and breakfast at the Brenham Grill. We enjoyed both meals.

Yes, the food is very good. What is surprising is the decor: huge, solid chandelier that looks as if it is straight out of the 1920s; ditto for the huge bar and counter on one end. The restaurant area is not too big, and if they are very busy, you will have to wait to be seated. Also because of... More
