If you find a hair.. ...a long, strangely hair in your burger, you can't rate high. First and only time here. Even with no hair in food, service was a 5, food was a 3. I will go back and try again, but the hair stories usually make me gag. Hair in food is not a game changes, but it... More

One of our favorite places to take out of town guests for lunch! Always enjoyable. It is a favorite of locals and central Texas fly-ins.

We Love The Trip Here - Fly or Drive. When we want to "get away" for a couple of hours, to just enjoy the rural countryside, this is a top destination. We've always chosen to dine out on the patio, with the good sized water tank, trees, wildlife, and the occasional small aircraft taking off. Last time, we watched a... More

I have heard about this place for years and got the chance to go for lunch yesterday. I had heard that this place was glorious and different, I think most folks rave on the hamburgers. I love hamburgers but they are not on my current high protein diet. The waitresses were cutely dressed in their hoop skirts, the restaurant decor... More

Great place to fly into for lunch & it's no secret ! Got there around 12:15 & there were loads of airplanes on the ramp. Surprisingly, we were seated immediately & the service was great. The food came quickly & all dishes were very good. It's at the airport but definitely not "Airport Food". Highly recommend - We'll be back... More

We went to eat lunch there. Very interesting place as it is at the airport. It is set up like a 50's dinner. Waitress in poodle skirts. Food is okay for basic food. Burgers, fries. A bit on the expensive side but a fun place to eat.

Southern Flyer diner offered a superb meal in a fun inviting atmosphere. We experienced stepping back into the fifties, complete with juke box and waitresses in poodle skirts, The home style cooked lunch did not disappoint.

The food is good for casual fare. It is an experience rather than just a meal. The airport is fun. The waitresses and the decor is great. You can watch the planes come in and take off.

This is a great place to go for lunch. The food is good and the atmosphere is fun. It is a 50's diner at the airport. It is fun to watch the planes take off and land while eating a good meal. They have amazing milkshakes! Also great burgers, catfish and chicken fried steaks. Oh, and the fried pickles are... More

Back to days when poodle skirts and fries & shakes kept us content. Comfy food, large selection of options, flavorful fare. Spend a pleasant afternoon watching aircraft come in and take off. Large area to walk about, sit and enjoy good conversation.
