If you are in the area and want authentic Mexican food, this is a great choice. Nothing fancy, just real good food. Prices are extremely low for all the food you get.

This is a great little mexican restaurant in Boerne. Nothing fancy, but the food was great. The breakfast tacos are very good. Even the little one enjoyed his picadillo with rice and beans. The flour tortillas are a little thick in my opinion but you can tell they are made fresh and are very tasty.

This is a quaint little Mexican restaurant that our kids have grown up going to! We took them in as babies in their carriers and they are now in college or out of college and every time they are home, this is the ONE place they always have to go to. It is very good and very reasonable food for... More

We always stop here to eat when going to San Antonio. Very small café but food has big taste! To us....the Male Wait staff can be a bit "rough" or maybe even rude at times but I guess I can understand working in such small space and so many people needing attention!! Female wait staff has always been nice:) Anyway,... More

If you are a true local you know that Magues is one of the best Mexican food places in town, especially for breakfast. It is a small diner, and I mean like lots of small towns in Texas have, that you might remember from your childhood. The food is good to very good, the service can be good, and rough,... More

We go to Mague's frequently! Why cook when they do an excellent job of preparing your favorite comfort food.

The quality of the food is far superior to any that I have had at other restaurants that call themselves "Authentic" This is the real deal at a real price.

Stopped at this place late on Friday night. It is very small and quaint. The food was good, the service was lacking, but they were getting ready to close at 9 pm. They serve complimentary chips, but no salsa. The home made corn tortillas were great. The enchiladas did not impress me. The prices were reasonable, the parking was terrible.... More

Wife had the Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas and they were excellent. She also ordered the Chiro Beans they were the best she ever had. I had the Tamales. They were served dry still in shucks. They were good but I love chili on my Tamales. Service were very good.

My family has been going to this restaurant for 20+ years. Its definitely not a high end place, but if you want good, reasonably priced Mexican food this is the place. It gets crowded for both breakfast and lunch but the service is pretty fast. We get breakfast tacos to go quite a bit. This is the place the locals... More
