We came here for a late breakfast. The service was slow but we were not in a rush so it was OK. The menu is filled with German, Czech and American food. Very fresh and filling choices. A must for breakfast.

We had desert here. All fresh and homemade! Peach kolache melted in your mouth. We also had Bavarian donuts! Cream was fresh and whippy. Everything tastes great! Service was good too!

Got lost and ended up in Boerne. Found this quaint establishment nestled in a historical looking building along the river, so it had to be a place to try. Friendly staff. Had the schnitzel Viennese. Crispy and tender. Spätzle was too salty. Interior designed as a modern boutique. Great restroom. Grand porch/patio. Ship chandelier was neat. Alcohol is available, but... More

My wife and I eat breakfast here a couple times per month ad they have the BEST pancakes I have ever eaten. The dinners are good as well and very unique. They have traveling chefs from around the world on occasion and they cook there home country meals. You gotta try it.

Terrific German cuisine in a home type atmosphere. The Jaeger Schnitzel was tender and flavorful. The side Caesar salad had homemade dressing that was rather watery and overpriced at $4.99.

We went in for brunch on Saturday, several empty tables, so not too full. Service was very slow. We got our water and menus right away but it took awhile for them to take our orders, then even longer to get our bloody Mary's, then even longer to get food. When the food did come it came piece meal not... More

Little Gretel is an intimate and delicious place for friends and family to gather. There is no bad choice on the menu, but my personal mainstay is the meatloaf and spätzle with mushroom gravy. Sit on the patio and enjoy the wildlife!

The atmosphere, food, and service are all huge wins here. Dinner is a little pricey for me so I go for lunch. Breakfast is good too. And dessert. Love the crystal ship, the jellyfish in the lady's room, the sweet owner lady, but the food keeps me coming back. The Czech and German cuisine is supurb. The Reuben, the spinach... More
