The food was good and fresh but I rated it only a 3 because we waited almost 10 minutes to order and over 40 minutes for two salads.

Great food, great atmosphere and wonderful service. Great selection of sandwiches, soups and salads. Their lemonade is the best! I love taking family here for lunch!

We stopped on our way from San Antonio to Gatesville,Texas for lunch. I had the turkey, bacon, avocado wrap. It was really tasty. The chipotle mayo dressing gave the wrap a terrific zip. My friend had the French dip which was tasty but nothing special. The restaurant is a diner style, order at the counter. Great choice for a good lunch. Large... More

The Redbud cafe is truly the pearl of Blanco as well as a great place to stop for a meal in the hill country. They mostly serve lunch and dinner several nights a week. The menu contains many traditional favorites such as Rubens, but all with their own twist and local fresh ingredients. Great burgers and special sandwiches. Super friendly... More

When you hear of Blanco, you almost always hear about the Redbud Cafe. This local staple is a must-stop! Everything on their menu is made fresh to order. I, especially, love their turkey and provolone sand which. They also serve local beer on tap as well as offer up some of the finest dessert in the whole county!! You must... More

Just ate at this café with 3 girlfriends for lunch. All of the food was delicious. It's right on the Courthouse square with neat little boutique shops and the historic courthouse. We each got a different dish, including the Egg Salad Sandwich, the Turkey Reuben Sandwich, the Caesar with Chicken and the wrap. Everyone was very full and very happy... More

During a recent visit to Blanco, we had the opportunity to eat at this cafe. This is a burger and sandwich shop but they have a big selection. There were 6 in our group. Five of us had burgers. The meat was a good grade of meat and the meat patties were good potion sizes. You have a choice on... More

Ordered the bacon blue burger; one of our favorites with home fries, a Fireman's 4 and a glass of local red. Enough to split with my wife! Oh what a treat; been too long. Oh yeah the live music is some good ole hill country jam (Doug & Kent). Best burgers in Texas!

My wife had the pimento cheese sandwich (my wife is a connoisseur of these) and she said it was second best she ever ate. I had the Ruben sandwich which was absolutely the best one I ever ate! The potato salad and coleslaw were very good, but overshadowed by the sandwiches. The place is huge, and homey at the same... More
