Went in at lunch with a group. This is a walk thru, pick meat off holding pit then pick sides inside. Quail was dry. Sausage was pretty good. You have multiple options. Brisket was moist, but not a lot of flavor.

The setup is unlike other restaurants. The meat here is the standout. The sides are good as well. Staff were accommodating in explaining what to do. Keep in mind that I'm no Texas BBQ expert but I do know what good food is.

The aroma when you get out of the car is wonderful...Then you go in to the pit area to order your meat and you look at a very confusing board lots to chose from. .decided on the pork chop--sad they took the meat out of a crock pot ..not off the grill/smoker The meat was okay nothing special and the... A business associate and I visited this restaurant - neither of us had been there before. You walk in the door - and have to order your meat from the list on the blackboard. It was a bit confusing - and made more so since they were out of some items like pulled pork! The place is authentic - the... More

This is probably the best BBQ in the area. Everything that we've had was good. I don't care for the potato salad that much though. The prices are pretty high for a BBQ. But it is good.

We had never been to Schoepf's & asked what to order/suggestions. But the woman at front was very abrupt & rude. The brisket & sausage was out of this world, but service left something to be desired.

Great selection of entrees, sides and desserts. You can basically mix and match to have whatever you want. I found the desserts especially scrumptious. This is close to the interstate for those traveling. They have a wonderful summer concert series on Thursday nights.

We were hoping for "real Texas BarBQue". Didn't have that smokey flavor. Didn't have much flavor at all actually. We had brisket and pulled pork, mac salad and coleslaw. None of it very good. Would not go back.

While in Texas recently we stopped in to try the BBQ. Now I'm more used to a thick strong BBQ here in the Northwest but I was disappointed with the one they use. Tasted very vinegary. Not pleasant to my taste buds. BUT, when you first enter you get in line and you tell them the cuts of meat you... More
