Excellent selection of coffees, lattes and loose/full leaf teas. There were so many choices of teas. We had their: - Oat Latte - was very good - Ginger Coconut - Chai (loose leaf) latte with oat milk - the aroma when they opened the amístese...was so pleasant it makes you want to keep your nose in there (lol). Definitely great for coffee, lattes and teas but didn't care for their tacos or chips much. By the time we visited, we had already hit two other spots with amazing tacos. The only tacos we ordered were the fish tacos and it wasn't great. We ordered chips, but they were quite greasy and from a bad. Not made in house but either way the y were too greasy. This is why I gave it 3 stars. However, this doesn't mean the other tacos mentioned in other reviews aren't good. We will be back and look forward to giving those a try as well and changing how many stars I gave. As for the the location it's in a great historic area. The cafe is quaintly decorated. I love the seating arrangement with sofas, tables and reg chairs all around truly making it very comfy while enjoying your food and beverage. I can see myself working out of this cafe for a few hours. Staff were always friendly, truly adding to the experience no matter if the fish tacos weren't that great (lol). We look forward to our next visit.More

Housed in one of downtown Belton's historic storefronts, Arusha was perfect for afternoon tea with a slice of scrumptious amaretto cheesecake. The atmosphere and decor were perfect after an all-day walking excursion in downtown Belton.

Nice and funky place downtown, now that is what a coffee house should look like. Its tri level with places to hunker down to spend some time enjoying a cup of fresh coffee. It's a good place to visit...and take home a pound of fresh...ground beans.More

I would choose Arusha's over every coffee place around. I love the coffee. The ONLY thing that makes me not rate a 5 is that they are very slow. They just cannot handle any kind of large crowds, so if you are in a hurry...you definitely want to go somewhere else. If they can fix this problem I'd give them 10 out of 5 stars!More

One of our frequent stops for coffee and desert after dinner. The coffee is good, the deserts yummy and they regularly have live music. Recommended.

I love locally owned cafes. Starbucks just does not compare, drinks here are tasty and not bitter. The taco offering is nothing short of amazing and a latte and taco cost less than a Starbucks drink. You guys rock great products.

I had some very good coffee and coffeecake, but I was even more envious of my wife's choices. She got an awesome cheese and spinach soufflé and an excellent Chai Latte. I am usually cautious about ordering these last two items at other restaurants because...of the wide variation in quality I experience. In this case, I should have ordered them. Fortunately, she gave me a taste of each so that I could include them in this review. To add more: This was a wonderful place to relax and play cards with a very pleasant ambience, friendly service and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back! This is a jewel. The best coffee house we have found in this area.More

This is a fun little coffee place that does art showings and live music at times as well. Fun place to relax with a good cup of tea or coffee. At time its a bit crowded and there's a wait. Enjoyable.

This place is mediocre at best. When it first opened it had quite a bit of potential to become an awesome place to stop in for coffee and relax but unfortunately that hasn’t happened. They are never consistent when it comes to coffee. Their Turkish...coffee used to be great when they made it the proper way. Over the last couple of years it was hit or miss if you could get them to make one at all and today I got lucky when the girl said “yes, I can make you one” only to be given something I would compare to instant coffee as she poured in hot water to the cup and didn’t actually “make” anything. The flavor itself was similar to water with a hint of coffee. I’m not sure what happened here but it’s nothing like an actual coffee shop and perhaps they should just focus solely on teas.More
