Great food. Great atmosphere. Stopped in while visiting daughter at school. Chicken fried steak was very good. Also try the fish tacos.

Stopped here with my running group for a quick bite to eat and a drink. We all ordered different things and everyone was satisfied. The Gin has a cool vibe and the staff was very friendly.

Our meal was amazing and was the service. I would recommend the ribs and chicken breast. For an appetizer, if you like bacon, the Cotton Balls will knock your socks off

The location for this restaurant is nice. The food is ok for lunch, but dinner prices are high for very mediocre food. I really can't recommend it.

I was really impressed with this restaurant. Terrific food, great service at a very reasonable price. It does a great job of being what I'd describe as an upscale casual place. Good for the family or a nice business dinner as well. Everything from steaks to burgers is done very well. My wife really enjoyed her steak and my burger... More

Nice spot. Good service and a friendly atmosphere in quaint ol' Belton. The Gin, a converted cotton gin from the 20's has been transformed into a great spot for sitting and watching the world go by. We just stopped for appetizers and drinks mid afternoon, and were delighted with the place. We had spinach dip and home made Texas style... More

This place was in a converted cotton gin built in 1928 out of Red bricks. The servers were friendly and very knowledgeable of their Menu and we're able to answer questions we had. Food was delicious and serving was just right portions. Great atmosphere.

We stopped by on a Tuesday on our way home from Waco. Belton has a nice little town square with a historic courthouse. A block behind the courthouse is a lovely area that overlooks Nolan Creek with two restaurants and a few other businesses. We looked at The Gin's posted menu, which had a nice selection and decided to give... More

We were excited to try this place...the outside atmosphere before you get to the restaurant was beautiful & fun! There was no waiting on a Friday night so that was nice. The service & food are ok-I'm guessing people go there for the location. My husband's order was wrong-completely different meal but the waitress gave us a free dessert. Then... More
