The food was very good. Our service was excellent however putting Oysters on the Half shell @ market value was a bit pricey. $21 for a half dozen and they were small. That's not nice.

We ate dinner with a few friends and ordered everything from salmon to catfish to chicken fried steak. Salmon was pronounced good. Catfish portions were obscenely huge but very tasty, and chicken fried steak was over-cooked and dry. When we finally got gravy for the steak it was not the white gravy mentioned on the menu but was brown and... More

Well! what a great day it was on Lake Belton after SUP'n most of the day with some great friends. We decided to go relax at Dead Fish Grill to have a well needed cocktail and some great food. I had the fried shrimp dinner that was amazing, I'm very picky when it comes to seafood since I grew up... More

I went to dead fish to have a late lunch and to get a po-bo sandwich and enjoy the view. The bartender told me that they were out po-boys which is amazing for a seafood restaurant.I ordered a beer and it was warm and the bartender gave more attention to the waitstaff Than to me.

This is a good "date night" kind of place. The food is good, not great. It is a little pricey but you get a good amount of food. It's a great place to go for drinks in the evening, especially late spring and fall. The outside seating can be a bit a bit hot in the summer. The view is... More

Food and drinks are ok but not great. Way overpriced. However views are awesome and when they have a do its a nice place to have a drink.

The view of Lake Belton is fabulous. We went for Sunday brunch. The menu does not include most normal brunch items. Omelet was over cooked. No bread served with it. Biscuit and gravy was good, but scrambled eggs were overdone and served on top of the gravy. Served with crawfish tails. Weird. Waitress was good, but took a long time... More

Chips were stale. Food Luke warm when received. They charge for some chips and salsa. Service was with a smile. Didn't bring requested items. I.e. Butter or cocktail sauce. View was fantastic.
