Spending Christmas with daughter who recommended this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. I had shrimp and grits and the portion was enormous. Family had seafood which also did not disappoint. Restaurant itself is right on the lake which would be wonderful in the summer.

Decided to try the Sunday brunch today. Good selection of brunch meals to choose from. I had the crab cake eggs benedict with salad and asparagus. Large portions and tasted pretty good. Wife's omelet was okay but cheese and spinach was just placed inside folded omelet not cooked in the omelet. She will try their brunch again but order something... More

We went to a company Christmas party here and had a good time. The service was very good. The food was ok, but not great. We had a buffet and I was one of the first in line and my food was just barely warm. The flavor of the food was good, especially the pork.

Used to be a great place to eat. When they initially opened the food was great. Over the years the quality has been on the decline and the price has been on the increase. It's really becoming more of a bar than it is a restaurant, which the bar side is fine. Has great views of the lake and plenty... More

The service was great ! The view of the lake and dam was good and unique. The coffee was stale and bitter. The food was way below "average" and they claim to have a "chef." The grilled shrimp were extremely oversalted to the point they could not be identified as shrimp. The fried catfish were saturated in oil and the... More

The Dead Fish Grill is tucked away and not much to look at from the parking lot. However, the food and service are outstanding. Sit by the windows and enjoy the lake view. If you want brunch try the DFG Breakfast Plate. You won't leave hungry. I enjoyed the florentine omelet. The pancakes with blueberries was also delicious. Want a... More
