It’s always amused me that the recipes used in America billed as Chinese food were actually created 100% in the USA in 1930’s San Francisco. People of Asian descent are not about to eat anything with that much grease in it. Moo Shi Pork is...a recipe served in a crepe skin similar to a tortilla. It’s thin, and has no leavening in it by design. This store refers to them as a ‘pancake’ which amuses the socks off of me. If a breakfast place served that as a pancake they wouldn’t be in business long. This store has enjoyed a long history of success but it’s obvious they deliver a whole lot more than dine-in. They need a revolving door for the number of drivers coming and going at meal time. They are middle of the road for what they sell, and I keep going back. Their fried items are always crisp and fresh, and their sauces quite tasty. Their portions are big enough for two adults easily, and even though they get carried away with the cucumbers just ask them to cut back and they will. Their menu is the same one that repeats itself across the USA. I would recommend them for the cuisine they choose to serve. I’ve been going back there many years now, and I don’t ever remember having to send anything back to the kitchen. Their staff is prompt, and courteous; privately owned and they act that way too. It’s hard to see from the road, but I’d bet the city has a sign ordinance preventing them from having adequate signage. Give them a try; you’ll like it.More

Walked there and ordered a Chicken dish. Picked out the chicken and my plate was still covered with onions. I hate onions. Service was fine but the soda tasted like chlorine. Once is enough for me.

I used to eat with this place but quit them many years ago. I had forgotten what was wrong with it, but another order reminded me in an instant. I ordered enough food for 2 people including fried wonton, eggroll and the entrée of almond...chicken and fried rice. Specifically in the comments of the order I put “send duck sauce; send soy sauce.” The food arrived in deliberate speed and the UBER driver was professional and courteous. It was only when I unpacked it that I found exactly 1 napkin the size of a playing card, one soy sauce packet and one duck sauce packet. Since the order included 7 or 8 fried wonton and one fried egg roll, one each packet of sauce isn’t quite going to do the job. I’ve never experienced anything quite as stingy as this and for the price it’s outrageous. Years ago they had shorted me on something and while speaking on the phone to the restaurant they kept making their case for an excuse rather than making it right. I just ended up charging a portion of the bill back to them on the credit card. The only thing they are intensely focused on is getting your money, and if you happen to get dinner out of the deal that’s a nice little perk. The main entrée was nothing remarkable either. The crispy things weren’t crispy and the whole thing did not appear to be made from fresh ingredients. The fried rice was not appealing at all, and appeared to have been sitting in a warmer somewhere for about a week. There is so much competition around here for this cuisine I know I’ll remember not to call them and choose someone else. The most offensive thing was sending just one packet of sauce and one itty-bitty napkin not big enough to get through dinner of any kind. They included a soup spoon when I didn’t order any soup and with the obvious intent to pack as little as they can get by with it’s shocking they sacrificed a $0.03 plastic spoon. I don’t recommend them, and I’m not going back.More

Stopped there for a quick meal while in the area. Very low key, but very good stop. Quiet, clean and friendly, makes it easy to be there and the food was plentiful and fresh tasting . More than reasonable prices and the value was great....Quick service, easy to park.More

First off, I have never been inside this restaurant, so I can't speak of the inside, but I order delivery from them about once a week. The food is so good, and the portions are huge and very reasonably priced. I always have enough left...over for a whole meal the next day. Everything I have ordered has been delicious, from Moo Goo to Egg Foo Young. They have a large selection of dinner combos, entree w/rice, egg roll and soup for just $8.99. The fried wonton appetizer is great, and 8 for $2.99 is awesome. I can highly recommend the food and I have never waited more than 20 minutes for fresh, hot delivery.More

I've gone to China Town for well over ten years. Started when they were located at the corner of Central and Harwood. Very good food, good service, and a fair price. My opinion is it's best to eat in - tastes better!!

When I moved to an apartment in Bedford I was too far from my favorite Chinese restaurant. A friend recommended this place and I was not disappointed! Order the cheese wontons, they are addictive! I have never eaten in the restaurant so I can't speak...to the atmosphere, but the delivery is prompt and dependable.More

The last 3 times I have dined at China Town our food has been barely warm. We gave it 3 tries with hopes it would improve. It is a shame as the food is fresh and quite tasty. It seems to me this could be...easily rectified. The view is lovely but the decor is looking a little run down. It appears to be a family operated business and sometimes they are short staffed. Although the wait isn't overly long, you have to flag a waiter down for water refills.More

The sauces are not too spicy, and the meats are cooked properly, but it is the vegetables that makes this restaurant stand out. You can actually taste the vegetable flavors. They are not overcooked and they are fresh. The waite staff are friendly and competent,...keeping an eye on the drinks (including the hot teas) and refilling before you have to ask. My order came out warm, not stove "steaming hot" as I usually prefer. However, it was hot enough and so tasty the way that it was served that I did not ask for it to be heated further. This place is very family friendly, with 16 House Specials in the Happy Family category. You can easily feed a grown-up and a couple of 2-5 year old kids with one order the portions are so generous. When I first saw my order, I thought I would need a "to-go" box, but have to confess ... it was so good that I ate the whole thing. Most of the offerings are in the $8-12 range. They also have a "children's menu" for the older kids in the $4-5 range. Then there are over 70 others: appetizers, soups, vegetables; and seafood, pork, chicken, and beef dishes - all under $10. They have water, teas, soft drinks, and milk. If you want something stronger, its BYOB. Don't go for the ambiance. It's not that kind of place, but they have a wonderful fish tank, which the youngest kids enjoyed more than eating, and the tea was served ready to pour. With the 9 of us, I would say everyone left satisfied, and indeed a happy family!More
