Interesting decor and varied menu seem to have made this a local favorite for many years. Shop owner suggested it for lunch and recommended chicken fried steak. We opted for the small serving and got large plate of lunch. Slow service, fair prices. Not sure...More
We traveled to Bandera last week and decided to take our girls out for breakfast to OST. They absolutely loved sitting on the saddles at the bar and staff was eager to please. Great breakfast food items and great atmosphere.
Drove by OST restaurant looking for a good burger. This is a true Texan restaurant. It was once visited by John Wayne. The service is good the ambience is all Texas with Wagon Wheels chandeliers, John Wayne pictures adore the walls, and saddles as a...More
Old fashioned texas diner homemade everything. Ate three times in two days each meal was spot on, from made to order breakfast to hand formed cheese burgers. Happy efficient staff , ask for Jordan she's great..

I read somewhere that they are open 6 am to 9 pm which makes sense as they do serve breakfast and we have been in there at night around 7 and they were still hopping. They get pretty busy though so plan ahead! Not sure if they take reservations (I suspect not) but just keep it in mind that you might have to wait if you go at peak dinner hours. Also, best to park down the road a bit. Just after Busbees if you take a Left, there is a parking area behind them where you can park and walk down the Old West boardwalk to OST. Easier than parking on Main Street. Hope this helps!
