Stopped by recently for breakfast. If you like country cooking you will like OST. Pancakes are very large so you will be completely satisfied with a short stack. Good service, and there cleaning routine with Covid seemed good.
I ate at the OST recently on a trip to Bandera. Things were a bit odd as far as service goes because of the pandemic, but they made the best of all the restrictions and my meal time was pleasant! The food was terrific! I...More
We kept it simple and all three ordered the ribeye. All were ordered medium and 2/3 were spot on. The third was pretty red...but that is ok by me...my wife would have sent it back! The sides were all favored well—pinto beans—very good along with...More

This place was recommended to us by a cowboy on the ranch we visited the day before and it did not disappoint.

Try the John Wayne room for a, delicious breakfast. The Migas were freshly cooked and delicious. Friendly staff and wsit staff. Easy to park your motorcycle right out front. Be sure to get there early because the lines are longer after 8:40 a.m.
We went with our grandson for a day of fun. We have been to OST before and loved the experience. We sat at a table, but enjoy the fact that they have saddles at the bar. Our dinner special was fried chicken with mashed potatoes,...More

I read somewhere that they are open 6 am to 9 pm which makes sense as they do serve breakfast and we have been in there at night around 7 and they were still hopping. They get pretty busy though so plan ahead! Not sure if they take reservations (I suspect not) but just keep it in mind that you might have to wait if you go at peak dinner hours. Also, best to park down the road a bit. Just after Busbees if you take a Left, there is a parking area behind them where you can park and walk down the Old West boardwalk to OST. Easier than parking on Main Street. Hope this helps!
