Dance halls and bars are numerous in Bandera, but this one is the best. Wednesday night steak night is famous in these parts. Bring your own steak( or any other type of meat) and grill it over one of many open charcoal grills fired up by the owner. Sides are available. BYOB. Big dance floor(outside and inside), good music, and... More

This was a great bar that was recommended to us at the Silver Spur ranch we stayed on. Everyone was so friendly and it had a great atmosphere. We went on a Saturday night and there was a live band playing which really added to the feel of the place. I would definitely recommend this rustic bar if you are... More

We had heard about this so we decided to try it. This is a great bar in Bandera, Texas. On Wednesday night they have Steak Night where you bring your meat, fish, or chicken and they provide the fire and grill and seasonings. You can buy a plate of sides (baked potato with all the fixins, salad and choice of... More

This is a very unique bar with bras hanging from the ceiling in the front bar area. Don't be deceived like we were by the front of the bar. The place is HUGE! When you walk toward the back of the bar there is a huge outdoor area with two stages, lots of places to sit on barstools and several... More

Each Wednesday night the barbeque pits are heated up at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar for people to come in and grill their own meats. The bar sells the "fixins" to accompany the meat as well as beverages. The band plays music for dancers to enjoy themselves on the dance floor. This is a fun family spot for a good... More

This a great place to go and have a few beers and a light meal. There is also a large dance floor here for when they have entertainment (Usually on the weekends). We went on a Tuesday night and were entertained by a group of local pickers having a jam session.

I know, I know. It's popular with bikers which I am not. I've been in there a couple of times and it was just too raunchy for me to enjoy myself. They have - or had - a lot of bras hanging from the ceiliing that drunk women took off. If you're looking for a trashy place to drink you... More
