I took my husband out to dinner just to get put of the house, the help look like they are 13 years old, and our server played with her hair, before, during and after our visit. If this is how the new management wants to...run their business, it's their business , but I'm very doubtful I'll be going in again. Maddie was the name on the check, for $75.00, you'd think the hair would be pled back and the servers wouldn't play with their hair. Although the food was good, the server was not professional at all. Very 😡More

We stopped in here on the way to Fall Creek Falls today for lunch. Pleasantly surprised. Good food and a reasonable price and service was great.

We enjoyed a late lunch at this little restaurant. It was recommended to us by a local at an antique store. We parked down the street because parking is limited. Fast service. The fried pickles and green tomatoes were delicious starters. The burgers were really...good.More

What the owner has done with this place is Great. Wonderful concept and beautiful space. The food is good but not great. I usually judge a place by it's Burger! That said their burger patties of Angus are over processed, dry and lack any flavor!...Mainly because it is Angus meat which is Dense and tough. What I would love to see is them switch to a Local Organic grass fed beef and grind and blend their own burger meat! AGREAT burger will pay the rent, lights, water and gas plus give you a profit all in one! They do have a very wonderful mac and cheese. It is to die for! I would also love to see more homemade products. The ones I have tried are pretty good! Hand made fried green tomatoes with a high acid count would be better. All in all not a bad place.More

2 of us couples we’re headed to boro for dinner and last minute we decided to try Sophia’s. We’ve been meaning to stop in and try but always seemed to packed. Now they’ve opened up the part next door which makes it way more open!...I forgot to get pics but for my husband and I he got 2 beers, fried bologna sandwich with a huge basket of fries and I got the vegetable plate with side salad, loaded smashed potatoes and squash casserole. All of it was awesome. So many things we want to go back and try. Our fiends for the fried mushrooms with awesome horseradish sauce, a salad, and a burger. Service was fast and friendly. I ordered a cocktail of a like an Arnold Palmer but they didn’t know they were out of the sweet tea vodka. So I just got water, 10 min later they said well we found some sweet tea vodka (I feel like someone may have went and bought it lol) and then didn’t charge me for it. We regret waiting so long but we kept hearing good things, so glad to have such a great little place in town! Will be back!More

First off I am local to the area, haven't grown up around here but I grew up in a small town. Great little place and we are talking about a small town that does not offer much. The food was hot and delicious. We actually...just stopped in for like a snack but ended up getting more because they offer nice different beer. The selection is not the biggest but I have a feeling that may change. I wished they could work with Short Mountain Distillery for some cocktails...they might but I was there for the beer and food. Price was a little up there but worth the price!More

We visited and would definitely recommend this restaurant. We had the fried catfish, pinto beans, slaw and hushpuppies. The fish has a thick cornmeal base batter and fried to a crispy crunch. It had a mild flavor and went excellently with the tartar sauce. We...splurged and had the pineapple upside down cake. It was warm and scrumptious. The pineapple sauce and sugar topping set it off. Will definitely visit again.More

This little gem came as a nice surprise. Sophia's is a cozy little restaurant as you would expect to find in a small country town. We went for lunch on a Saturday and were seated right away. The menu consists of traditional down home dishes...prepared and served with a trendy flair. I am sure we will return.More

After being closed for the Prime Time Media Flu, Sophia's is back and every bit as good. The food is always fresh, and Chef Todd's preparation is impeccable. The entrees are American staples for the most part, but we'll prepared and well seasoned. You'll enjoy...the full service bar, and the bar food selections are very good. Always ask about the specials for a pleasant and delicious surprise. Great little place, good food, wonderful and friendly service...what more could you want?More

During my visits to this new establishment, I have found the food to be very well prepared and delicious. Sophia's has a few unique offerings for our area, among them are fried chicken livers ( a big hit with my wife! ) a low-carb burger,...which is really terrific, and what is likely to be the best sawmill gravy in the mid-state...I kid you not. The attentive staff, and the full service bar are big, big pluses, with some signature cocktails, a good selection of beers, both bottled and on tap,and a basic but expanding selection of spirits.More
