Emil's Bistro is a fabulous restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in a restored early 1900's home of the former Tullahoma mayor. The menu offers something for all. The decor is beautiful with delightful art. The French chef shows great care in preparing and presenting delicious dishes.

We were attracted by the No. 1 rating enjoyed by this restaurant and by this stage of our trip were looking for something a little special. This is a traditional family-run restaurant and whilst the service wasn't brilliant and it is not cheap, from an overall standpoint it was very good. We would certainly return if we are ever in... We loved our meal and enjoyed talking with the manager that is from our area in Mississippi. Had the Chicken Daniel and a cup of Gouda and puréed red potato soup, and it did not disappoint!

This was our second visit to the restaurant while passing through Tullahoma. I was determined to find it because our previous meal, a few years ago had been so good, but I didn't remember the name. Happily, from descriptions on Trip Advisor, I took a chance are here we were again, with another wonderful meal. There weren't many people there and... More

Service and atmosphere were very good. Pastry on one appetizer seemed to be food service quality, and seared tuna appetizer was fishy- not sushi quality/freshness. Entrees were a special, where andouille overpowered the main ingredient. Dessert was molten chocolate and quite tasty. We usually patronize the highest rated non-chain restaurants when we travel, but were disappointed with the food overall.

Had lunch with family. Had soup (very rich beef veg.) and chicken salad. Food is fresh and "urban" for this rural area. Took a quart of tomato soup home. Would try again for dinner.

Went here for a business meeting with a group of 8. We were also heading to Jack Daniel's Distillery tour. This older house which was converted into a quaint eatery was a pleasant surprise in this small town. The food was outstanding and I can recommend stopping here when you're passing by or live here.

This was a retirement dinner for my manager. 12 people. There is a nice upstairs arrangement for larger groups. We were treated by the owner, great service and nicely prepared good food. We had a verity, roast was the most popular. Too rare for my taste. My wife had a chicken. Very nice. Good drinks, very reasonable price. Overall a... More
