This was the worst food my wife and I ever ate. Even the toast was uneatable. We had the Chicken Alfredo with greens and green beans. The place has good ratings and we tolerate most meals, but this was over priced and terrible. I will...say the four small chicken fingers were good, but the gravy was flour and water with no flavoring.More

takeout breakfast ordered, did not receive half of order, cheese omelet had no cheese. bread ordered and left out, has browns ordered and left out. The guy at the cash register did not hardly acknowledge me standing there and grunted a few times and after...I paid him, he just walked off without even looking at me and not saying anything at all. we are frequent visitors to Townsend but have now found a competitors restaurant with better food and service with slightly better prices. The only good point is the nice lady who just seen me standing there at least went and got it from the kitchen while the guy at the register ignored me.More

Great food and service. We were seated very quickly and our server took our drink orders and our food order immediately. Very short wait. Food came hot and huge servings. Will definitely eat there again.

We left. Not really our scene. No beer/wine served. The restroom smelled horrible. There were religious quotes up on the walls. Very traditional southern menu with lots of fried stuff. Seemed expensive.

Greeting time and being seated was adequate. However there isn't a childs menu. 4 year old Daughter wanted mac-n-cheese. After server took order, server came back shortly to inform us they were out of mac-n-cheese. Husband ordered the " chicken tender basket " for $13.99,...he was given four of the SMALLEST chicken tenders I've ever seen. The steak fries filled 90% of the basket. I ordered the " chicken po boy" for $13.99. Wasn't terrible, wasn't the best. After a coffee, 2 waters and (2) $13.99 entree's it was $31.+ change. Definitely won't make it a destination of ours again. * Overheard near by server tell a table the establishment doesn't prepare any pasta before 2pm*More

We went for dinner as it was one of the only places in town open. We sat out back and that was enjoyable. Wait times were a little long, the wait staff seemed tired, and the food was okay. I wouldn't choose it again, (in...fact we got food from the store and ate in our hotel room the next night).More

We were given a gift certificate to Riverstone by the resort we were staying in. Our big country breakfasts were just that...big portions and down-home delicious. Their sweet cream pancakes had us coming back the next morning just for them! On top of this, the...staff, including Bill, our server, were incredibly friendly and attentive. We'll certainly eat there again when we return to Townsend!More

This place I reviewed a number of years back, and it was a great experience. But a few years later it had declined considerably. But we returned last night and it was back to one of our (two couples) favorites. Really good Po Boys and...cheeseburgers. We were very pleased with the food and the sweet young lady who was our waitress. I think a change of ownership explains the quality variances over the years. New owners know good food. We definitely recommend!More

The menu is varied. We ate there four times, ordering something different each time, and all of the food was great. Staff were very accommodating. Outdoor seating is nice, especially in back.
