Stopped in on our way to Cades Cove. Nice gift shop and on the way out grabbed an apple fritter. Was pretty good. If in the area I would stop by again.

I do not like giving bad reviews but I will for this one considering tourists who visit Townsend will need to know. We are essentially local and will not return. We live 20 minutes away and decided to visit Townsend for breakfast. We were disappointed that our favorite restaurant, Miss Lilly's, was closed so we stopped by the Apple Valley... More

I really struggled with how to rate this restaurant. This place is cute, convenient, and had very friendly staff. We stayed at Dancing Bear Lodge and went here one day for lunch and another day for breakfast. Lunch was delicious - my boys had great burgers and onion rings and I loved their homemade chicken salad! We had breakfast on... More

Great place to stop and shop a little and get a snack. We grabbed some of the homemade fried pies to take on the road....delicious!! Wish I had one now!

You can dine indoors or outside. Quasi-table service. You place your order at the counter, take a seat and they bring you your food. My wife had chicken salad on a croissant. I had the pulled pork on a bun. The house-made chicken salad was superb. The pork on my sandwich was smoked on premises and had a house-made slaw... More

Not only was the food great...especially their BLT and homemade fries...but their "personal" service! My mother, who is almost 97, had a major problem due to the altitude while there, and the young lady serving us provided ice, cool air, and directions to the nearest ER. The gift shop has some really nice items and we hope to go back... More

My husband and I were here twice for breakfast during our honeymoon. Wonderful food! Great atmosphere and loved being able to walk right over to the shops. Will be coming back next vacation :)

Wanted ice cream but it was frozen too hard. Had a cookie instead. Sweet wait staff. Enjoyed relaxing and chatting on the porch.

We stopped for breakfast on our way home. The food was good but on Sunday morning all we could order or eat was the buffet. We were looking for something a little lighter and less expensive. The buffet did have a variety of food options from eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and biscuits to muffins, cinnamon rolls and other pastries.
