We visited for lunch and were amazed at the flavor of the bbq, the freshness of the buns and the flavor of the sauce. It was great! The sides that we ate were baked beans and potato salad, They were home made and very good. The strawberry and blackberry cobbler were the best that we've had in a long time.... More

My wife and I stopped by for lunch, sat on back the back porch which was nice, had the wings which were ok, celery looked like it had not been cleaned, the blue cheese dressing that it came with had been sitting out and the oil was separated in the dressing.. My wife had a dry BBQ sandwich with fries... More

We ate here shortly after arriving in Townsend, it's right over the road from our motel and I didn't fancy driving. We arrived quite late but they seated us happily. Our server Alisha was lovely and took good care of us. I had BBQ half chicken dinner and my wife had the pork dinner. We both had sweet potato fries... More

Family of 6 ate here for a late lunch. The ribs were very good; lots of meat, tender and smoky. Brisket not very good; chunks of meat rather than strips. Their 'hot' sauce wasn't as good as the mild. Kids got chicken strips that they enjoyed. Reasonable prices. Nice to sit outside on the porch. Offer take out as well!

we were there the first night of the season. Food tasted great and it was nice to sit by the river on the screened porch.

We loved sitting on the screened in patio looking at the peaceful river. Excellent pulled pork sandwiches, good simple menu.

We ate here for my birthday oct.21 2014 and was looking forward to it as we had eaten here before and the food was good. We both had the bbq ribs and husband also had brisket and it was good although mine was a little over cooked . The potato salad and baked beans were good and the blackberry cobbler... More

I read reviews and after going here on Saturday evening I was Very disappointed. My half smoked chicken was cold to the touch (like out of refrigerator), the onion rings were dripping with grease, my husbands brisket was room temperature and we never received a drink refill or even an offer.
