Not too many places in town to eat, but glad this one is hear. Lots of locals eat here and I can see why the food was very good, the prices reasonable and the portions large. We shared the fried Rainbow Trout fried to perfection....Light and flaky no excess oil, with sides of okra, cheddar grits and sweet mashed potatoes. Their Black Currant tea is fantastic (they sell it by the gallon to go too) . Desserts all sounded great and we had a slice of the Coconut Cream Pie. very good too, all about $30! If your in town don't hesitate to stop in for a good mean reasonably priced.More

The food was good and there was something for everyone from 6 to 66. Peanut Butter pie was homemade and amazing. Our server, Susan, was knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. She made us feel really welcome.

Nothing fancy, but very good food served hot and with a smile. Loved their catfish served all you can eat for about $12. Crisp, not too heavy breading. Great fries.

It was a beautiful winter day and we took a drive into TN and up to Tellico Plains. Found this restaurant for lunch. We had great service and the food was delicious. You get lots of food on the plate. The choices for dessert sounded...good, but we were too full to have . After a good hearty meal, we are ready to continue our adventure on the Cherohala Skyway to Robbinsville.More

Delicious homemade food. The green tomato and ham soup and fried green tomatoes with their version of ranch was very good. The Turkey and dressing was also good and the homemade bread pudding (large portion) was a great end to our meal. Service is excellent...and with a smile under their 😷More

Stopped here after trip from N.C. on the Cherahola Skyway. 4 adults with different choices all enjoyed their food. Some of the meat is cut there and they have an actual trained chef. The desserts were amazing. Staff was friendlly and service was good. We...will be sure to stop here next time we come this way.More

So I ride big sportbikes in the mountains from Atlanta! We travel everywhere and we are a mixed group (white/black and everything in-between). Trump signs everywhere so when we stopped in at this quaint diner I really didn't know what to expect but was really...hungry and never scarred (lol). Long story short; Best Damn people and we absolutely returned the charm! Glad that we stopped and was able to talk with all the old folks who were as sweet as their dessert pies! Decent menu that most everyone can find something they may like. Stay well Peeps!!More
