Nice little hole in the wall meat and three for lunch. Cafeteria style. Dishes will stick to your ribs.

The food is consistently good, and the turnip greens are the best anywhere! There are always five or six entrees with a good selection of vegetables, corn bread (muffins or hot water) and rolls. Being in the Depot District of town adds to the ambience as one watches the trains roll through as they have for years. The staff is... More

This was some good food. We got a meat and 3 veggies and a roll. If you go be sure to be hungry because you will get full. The only thing I say is it was kind of a little pricey. But the food was good and be sure I will eat here again.

To be fair. The first visit I had the flue; not good taste bud's at the time. My visit yesterday was ok. My tortillas fell apart and had to eat taco's with a fork. The only thing that saved the taco breakfast was the black bean's served with the breakfast taco's. Personally; I feel the place is over priced.

Love everything about this place. Our family used to make weekly trips to eat here but we don't make it out as much anymore. Everything is great, the food, the staff, the Christian atmosphere!

Breaking Bread brings back the good ole days of going to the local cafe and having a wonderful meal of meat-n- two or three. I have never found this diner to be a disappointment, if you are hungry for a delicious home cooked meal, this is your place!

Our family eats at Breaking Bread every few months and have never been disappointed! My favorites are the mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and cooked apples. The ONLY downside is their hours! So often we want dinner from here and they are closed. If the owner is reading this... PLEASE open for dinner!

The food is delicious and home-cooked selections vary from day to day. Service was also attentive and extremely friendly. My selection of chicken and dressing, turnip greens and mashed potatoes with a corn muffin was filling and reminiscent of the way we no longer take time to do in our own households. The interior is quaint, plain, simple yet cheery,... More

Really good "home-cooked" food, just like Mom or Grandma made. Meat and 3 type - delicious and the prices are unbeatable.
