This is more of a Polynesian restaurant but the food is great. They do things a bit differently and their HOMEMADE teriyaki sauce is incredible (and you can buy a bottle there). Some of their "flair": Order the Shrimp Panamanian...if you like HUGE shrimp (Prawns) you will love these. Won Ton Soup - instead of steamed Won Ton's they use... More

A young lady named Alex was my waitress, and she was extremely sweet and attentive. She did a great job of helping me decide which meal to choose, and she was very honest about what her and other guests love on the menu. I chose to order to the Tahitian Feast because it seemed to be the best choice if... More

The Omni Hut is a unique and special place (especially to the Smyrna residents). We love this place for many reasons, one being its family owned and operated. The food is amazing and you can't ask for better atmosphere. There is no place like it.

Have been going here for years - even before I moved to Smyrna. Went here first in 1961 and restaurant is as good today as it was then. I love the atmosphere as well as the food. Really enjoy the puu puu tray - a good sampling of everything. Also, enjoy the tea very much. The service is awesome. Love... More

My husband has been going since it opened. He introduced me when we were dating. We took our son, and friends and relatives. No one has ever left dissatisfied. Owner can be best for perfect blend of professional and friend. Staff very attentive with out intrusion. Tahitian feast rocks! All is super good and great deal. Recommend but go early.... More

Went with another couple on a double date. The atmosphere and food at this restaurant was incredible. Not to mention the awesome customer service and friendliness of the staff. I can for sure see why the parking lot stays packed. If you are going to give it a try, the bora bora and the pu pu platter are wonderful. Highly... More

As mentioned in prior reviews - this is a go-to place for birthday celebrations. We usually get there when the door is open and request the same waitress. For some reason Jenny was not available that night. Also, the "reservation" was at 7:30ish. We also sat in the dining room to the left. For YEARS we sat at the big... More

Amazing authentic Polynesian food!!! The BEST Egg Flower Soup and Crab Rangoons EVER! The portions are very large so you might be taking home a doggie bag. My husband said it was the best Polynesian ribs he has ever had. Outstanding atmosphere that will take you back to what the true 50's/60's Polynesian dinning experience used to be. For the... More

The Omni Hut is one of the last of the Original wave of "Tiki" restaurants. Chock-a-block with carved tiki gods, beautifully ornate lamps, and bamboo as far as the eye can see. The food comes in huge portions (I ordered the Samoan Dinner, which came with 7 items!) and they are priced great for what you're getting. The Hawaiian Tea... More
