We have always eaten here on past trips here, but for some reason this place has lost it,s pizzaz. There was nothing special about the food this time. The dressing was the worst I have ever eaten. Probably never go there again

My family and I ate dinner at the Applewood Farmhouse Grill. It was a country cooking at it's best. The attire of the wait staff took a little off the overall dining experience. I know they are just playing off the "country mountain" theme but it was a bit much for me. The food and the friendliness of the staff... More

My family and I enjoyed our meal. We all had something different - but I had the turkey and dressing. It was great. The turkey was moist, and the dressing, mashed potatoes, and green beans were all good too. The apple fritters and apple butter are always a family favorite. We will be back!

This was our first time to the grill and it was great. My two small kids loved the home cooked meals. My wife had the salmon and said it was great. The chicken was truly southern. I would highly recommend eating here and visiting the other stores here.

The first time we ate here, the food was excellent. It's been years and the restaurant has expanded but the quality of the food has suffered tremendously. My son-in-laws' steak was cold, my pork loins were overcooked and hard, my wife's grilled chicken was overcooked as well. The sides and desserts were very good, it was the entrees that were... More

We love eating at the Applewood Farmhouse Grill. The food is always good. I had the turkey and dressing dinner and my wife had the chicken & dumplings. Both were excellent. Don't get me started on the apple fritters, yum. Our server was very friendly prompt and added to the atmosphere. After dinner we walked through the various shops on... More

We ate here for the 1st time & loved it. Really neat how they have different rooms for people to eat in so there is plenty of room for many people. Give every table apple fritters with apple butter & a cup of their special juice. The food was really good & our service was good. Will definitely go back... More

Arrived after the main lunch rush but the restaurant was still kinda busy. We were seated in a couple minutes. The table we were seated at needed cleaning again. It was wiped and cleaned quickly. The waitress was dressed in what my wife called old country style. The waitress was efficient but not cordial, maybe a bad day. We decided... More

We went for breakfast, came back later that day to shop at the Apple Barn shops, and came back later in our trip for dinner. Do yourself a favor and try the apple fritters and apple butter-and buy some extra in the store!

Wow- two meals in one day and shopping! Thank you so much as we can get no better compliment than this. I would say have lunch also with us again next time but our portions are so big you were probably still full after breakfast! We certainly look forward to your next meal (or meals) with us. More

This is our second trip to the Smoky's and the Farmhouse Grill has become a favorite place to stop, shop and eat. The fritters and julip are such a treat before your meal and the soups (potato or vegetable) with each meal are savory and delicious. Be warned though, huge portions of good food come after all the fritters, julip... More

Thank you for returning to our amazing restaurant. Along with the apple fritters and soup, our friendly staff is just a signature part of our environment, and Gage is certainly no exception. I'm not surprised at all to hear he made such a great impression on you, but I will definitely make sure he gets a copy of your review.... More
