Excellent! Party of 7 and no wait. Beverages and appetizers were out in no time. Kids gobbled down ravioli and waitress noted that it is made fresh daily. I got eggplant parm and it was delicious. I barely made room for dessert. We got a few slices of cake to share (rainbow cake and chocolate cake) amongst party. Both were delicious. They are locally made and brought in. Excellent place to grab dinner with or lunch . Definitely plan to return!

While staying in a cabin in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee we wanted a casual and quiet dinner out on our last night. We chose Geppetto's because of it's close proximity to the cabin that we were staying in. This place was perfect! The staff went out of their way to welcome us and make sure that our evening was everything we wanted it to be. The food was excellent! I had the Lasagna while others in my group enjoyed the Stuffed Shells, Fettuccine Alfredo, Baked Ravioli and the mouth watering Garlic Knots!! And to top off the evening the desserts were not to be missed -- from the Coconut Creme Pie to the Chocolate Cannoli! We will definitely return here on our next visit to their little valley!

We stopped in here while out antiquing and are so glad we did. They have delicious gluten free crust and the pizza was delicious! We didn’t try the gluten free pasta but they have it. The only negative was they had one waitress for the entire restaurant. She was a very hard worker and did a good job taking care of us but having another waitress would make the experience better. I don’t want to give 4 stars because she worked hard and the food was good, but could.

We pride ourselves in choosing to dine at "mom and pop" eateries or restaurants over chain restaurants, especially in a tourist city, and we always pay with cash to save the restaurant the charge to use a card. The reviews and photos posted on the Internet of Geppetto's made our choice well-advised and researched. But the pizza was exceptionally thin, unlike the pictures offered on the Internet, leaving us four hungry after a 16-inch three-meat pizza. (Yes, we cross referenced to be certain that physical addresses matched pictures and reviews.) Yet, we agreed that the homemade meatballs and cheese bread were equally enjoyed and worth purchasing again. To note, just a few months ago, my parents ordered Italian dishes from there, and they intend on ordering those dishes again at their next visit to the Smokies. So, maybe it's just that the pizza is not what you order at Geppetto's, paying for the subs, calzones, and other dishes, instead. Although the health rating was outstanding, we were bothered that the manager required customers to wear masks but never chose to wear one himself. There was also a random woman to bring our pizza. When I asked for more water, she said, "I don't work here, but I can get that for you." She brought one glass of water back, requiring us to use the cold drinks from our cooler. When I paid for our bill, I had to work with the manager again. I did not hear the total the first time, and he repeated the total. I said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I can't hear because of this mask." He took time for a comeback, saying, "Yeah, we lose our hearing when we cover our mouth?!?!" As a mom of a partially deaf child, I did not take time to explain to him that our senses our actually intertwined, each sense depending on different senses, and that when one is lost, it takes years to compensate. I guess society will figure this out, if masks actually become a permanent part of daily lives.

We’ve eaten here a few times the past couple of weeks, with mixed results. Actually, the pizzas are really good, as is the spaghetti n meatballs. But on our last visit, we ventured down the wrong road: lasagna. I’m not sure why we ordered it to begin with, as we went in wanting another pizza. Started with an order of cheese sticks, which were decent, and a salad with a below average ranch dressing. But the lasagna was the detriment to the meal. It’s served in a round bowl, with no firmness. The whole entree is just a big bowl of gooey cheese, on top of more cheese. There’s marinara and some signs of meat at times, but again, way too much cheese. The service was good, and the restaurant was clean. Though I’m not sure why there weren’t paper towels in the bathrooms on any of our visits: you end up wiping your hands on your jeans. Another note: watch out for the one employee who drives out from the back parking lot: twice we’ve seen him speeding out of the gravel parking lot, with kids walking in n out of the porch area. Not sure why he does this, or what the hurry is? In conclusion: If you’re going here, stick to the pizza, bring a small hand towel, and stay to the right of the parking lot to be safe. And steer clear of the baked pasta!

I would go back because the server was so nice and the chocolate cake was amazing. However, I can't recommend the dinner. Some members of our group had ok meals (eggplant), but others got overcooked food (chicken parmesan) , watery pasta, and dry garlic knots. I was disappointed in the experience because I really wanted to find a good Italian restaurant in the area.

We went for dinner after a long day of adventures. The wait staff was so friendly and very helpful with our questions!! We ordered the pepperoni pizza and ravioli with cheese bread as an app and it was all amazing. Pizza was the best we’ve ever had!!

We’re originally from the NYC burbs, so we’re picky about our Italian food. But our Airbnb host recommended Geppetto’s and it was close to our cabin, so we figured why not? We got takeout so we can’t speak to restaurant service, but the chicken alfredo with broccoli and the manicotti exceeded our expectations! It was also nice that both came with a side salad and garlic knots. Great for an easy first night dinner in Wears Valley.

After a 9 hour drive, we were starved. I whipped out my handy dandy trip advisor app and saw great reviews for Pizza. Why not I thought? Two large pizzas and a 10 pc of boneless wings. While I’m waiting for the order I kept staring at the dessert case (brilliant strategy). I walked out with five cannolis. I headed back to the cabin. Minutes later-pizza-gone, boneless wings (where these homemade?)-gone, and then I opened by surprise...the cannoli’s. I didn’t hear a word for a couple of minutes (only the sounds that people mutter when they are enjoying what they were eating). The other secret weapon? The sign that said Key Lime Pie. I’m such a sucker!

We had a group of 20 renting a large cabin in Townsend, TN and decided to just have pizza. We ordered 3 pizzas for pickup. There was a little problem ordering and the two other ones we tried to get weren't there when we went for pickup. But it all worked out sine the pizza was really good. We even had it cut in squares instead of slices so it went farther with our crowd.

Gepetto's is a good place to eat, and my wife really likes the Gluten Free pizza. Unfortunately, an early morning fire on June 18 caused heavy damage to the building. The local newspaper said the owners plan to reopen, but it will obviously take quite a while to rebuild. When Gepetto's reopens, please show your support by eating there.

We found this restaurant as we traveled back to our cabin from GSMNP. What an amazing find!!! Who would have thought that Italian food from a red barn could be so amazing! Parking is right out front on gravel. Seating both inside and out. We sat outside and loved it with the mountains in the backdrop. Service was great. Food came out fast and hot! Lasagna and Fettuccine were so flavorful and delicious. The salads were great. The cheese pizza was perfect. We left filled to the top and extremely happy!! Highly recommend!

One of the few places in Wears Valley that’s open in the dead of winter. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur so i wasn’t blown away by Geppetto’s pizza BUT for a restaurant in a valley in between 2 mountains in TN, it was quite good. A good value, it tasted good and it fed 2 adults and 2 kids. The best part of the meal was the cheese cake! It was fantastic! The staff was very friendly and talkative while I waited on my to go order. When we stay in wears valley again, we will def get a Geppetto’s pizza!

Good food, priced right. Only thing the pizza had a tough crust, more than usual. We ordered a large order of pizza, pasta, sandwiches and they got it right. Pasta and sandwiches were great. Not disappointed at all, just the pizza crust
