We are open Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner serving great southern classics like country ham, biscuits and gravy, fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken and dumplings and apple cobbler. Generous portions of delicious food!

Soooo delicious! After being recommended to visit here we made it our dinner destination. It didn’t disappoint! To start you get free punch (apple,orange, pineapple mixture) and apple fritters with apple butter! These are hands down the best apple fritters I’ve ever tried. They do...have a kids menu, though my daughter ordered an adult meal. Bring your appetite! The portions are huge! My husband ordered chicken fried chicken, my daughter ordered fried catfish, and I ordered a trio sampler (small portions of fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and chicken pot pie) All meals come with either a small salad or soup, mashed potatoes, and one side. The green beans were phenomenal. Honestly we were stuffed, but your meal also comes with a complimentary dessert or an alternative dessert for a small fee. We walked away with overly full bellies and still plates full. I would recommend sharing, but my husband are all of his. Don’t forget to stop by their shop and buy some extra apple butter to take home like we did! We will come again!More

Fantasic Place

Ohh! The food!! Delicious. Great service and location. We had breakfast there and plan to go back on our next visit to try a lunch or dinner! Highly recommend

Great food, great service!

We went for Sunday dinner (I think it's a different menu). Our server, Caleb, was awesome! The food is definitely southern homestyle and DELICIOUS! The portions are giant. We had pot roast, turkey and dressing, chicken fried chicken, and Mac and cheese. We also had...the sweet potatoes casserole and green beans as additional sides. The Apple wood Julep is delicious! It's like a pineapple orange juice they make themselves. You also get complementary apple fritters with apple butter. Oh my gosh! They are amazing!! Overall, excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere!More

Sit and wait

Sat in the dinner room for over 20mins as staff continuously walk by not acknowledging the table; . As we waited patiently a server even put down a dirty tray of dishes next to my son chair and leaving there 10 of the 20 minutes...waiting .I finally decided to have us get up and leave to go down the street to eat. I was really looking forward to this place and was highly disappointed today .More

Great breakfast as always

We always get breakfast here when we are in town. Plenty of food and the staff is always so friendly. Food came out fast and was very tasty. We will definitely be back

Lots of breakfast!

Yet another very good but very LARGE breakfast! Omelets were excellent and so were the other meals. Breakfast potatoes were particularly good. I could have made a meal from the apple muffins! Service was excellent. The birds in the lobby are good entertainment while you...wait. Be sure to check out the bird exhibit near the back of the restaurant too.More

Must try! Everything is freshly made and delicious!

Some of the best food we have eaten. Awesome atmosphere. Started with Apple fritters and apple butter, Apple Julip and delicious broccoli soup! We got the trio (fried chicken, chicken and dumplings and a chicken pot pie. We also got the roast beef. Everything was...so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!!More

Portions are large. You will not go home hungry!

The food was great and there was LOTS of it. You will not leave hungry as the portions are very large. Each meal does come with dessert with some specialty desserts having a small upcharge. Honestly, you could probably share some of the menu options....The server was very friendly and just took a few minutes to chat with us since they were not busy. It was a great meal experience.More

Always delicious

Never disappointed when we eat at apple barn. Had the beef stew, fried okra, broccoli casserole and apple cobbler for dessert this time. It was amazing!

Unique Breakfast experience

THe atmosphere was great. The staff was extremely attentive and engaging. Most staff members are very long term which says alot about the people that own the place. The food delicious and plentiful.

Good time in the Mountains

Always nice to get away and get a good meal while out of town. We will come back next time and visit the other restaurant and see if the are just as good.

Breakfast with the gang.

Great experience. Stopped in for breakfast with 8 friends. Was seated very quickly and food came out very fast. Everyone was pleased with the service and food. A very busy place especially Sunday morning.

Lunch on Saturday Jan 27th

We visited based on the many reviews of recent months. Seated and served right away. Apple fritters with apple butter, and small glass of fruit juice was a nice touch!! ❤️ Husband ordered fried chicken and I ordered the chicken trio. All very delicious and...very tasty. I like that the chicken dishes were not very salty; sometimes you can over salt and it will ruin the dish. The restaurant seems to run very efficient and I would assume can handle a large turnover. Abigail was our friendly server and she made a recommendation to try the collards. My husband loved them! 🥰More

Second time was incredible!

Visited AppleWood Farm early 2022 Wasn't really impressed but heard on the grape vine it had a new manager. So I'm a firm believer of trying somewhere twice. Well what a turn around ! This was a very pleasant surprise to find that it was...actually a fantic day out for all of us. The staff, the food, the beer was excellent to say the least ! Will be returning regularly after such a great day ! 5 stars from me.More

Great Food and Atmosphere

Let me start by saying our waiter, Trip, was so attentive and excellent! Best service we had on our entire vacation. The food here was all really good. I got the country fried chicken and my husband got the Nashville Hot chicken Mac and cheese....The vegetable soup and apple fritters were perfect.More
