My husband and I went here last Friday night on a friends suggestion and had a great experience. We had the Cajun sampler which was deliscious! The red beans and rice were my favorite of the three, and the triple chocolate bread pudding was to die for. I loved the atmosphere and the service was great!! It's much better than... More

Just to be clear, the parking lot is gravel and often full, they close Sun/Mon and sometimes unexpectedly so check the FB page before driving from far, and your wait-staff may have a STIFF TN accent! Once you get in the door it's a cool mix of colors, shapes and Christmas lights with small tables, low ceiling, and deck seating... More

I was expecting small portions but was surprised how much food you get for the money. Prices are reasonable and the staff was very friendly. If I lived around there u would likely eat there often.

I have been to the FogLight many times and I love it! (I ate there maybe in March of this year 2015 and I plan on going in November of this year) I usually order the same dish but I try other people's food and there has only been one thing that I did not care for. I usually order... More

I stopped by Foglight Foodhouse after a long day of locating waterfalls. I was greeted by a friendly staff. I chose to sit outside with a view of the lake. The rib eye I order was just delicious. I also enjoy the house dressings for the salad that are made in house. I would would absolutely recommend this restaurant and... More

I have camping at Rock Island for years. I have always wanted to try Dogfight, like for 10 years. They are closed the same days that I have off. Well, we were actually camping on a Saturday and I thought, hey!, we can finally try Dogfight. They don't take reservations. They said people start lining up and hour before opening.... More

This was a very unique experience. While the food is higher range for the area the food, the ambiance and the views were worth every penny. Even setting on the veranda petting the cats made the experience that much better. This is NOT your far toooooo common Southern food joint. This is a middle to upper scale experience and the... Amazingly creative food in TN? YES! Hidden in a State Park / lake-house area called Rock Island, TN is an eccentric little restaurant with a view you must experience for yourself. At around 20$ a plate, bring your own bottle of wine to save $ and plan to come early (get very crowded Fri/Sat in Summer) and stay a spell.... More

We tried to visit Foglight in 2014 but we were early and 100 miles from home and decided to try another time. On 8/22, our 46th anniversary, we took the day and drove through some beautiful parts of Tenn. with Foglight as our final destination. We weren't disappointed. We arrived around 6:30 to a full parking lot and a fairly... More
