We were excited to check out this restaurant when we heard that they were offering a BOGO deal for the all you can eat meal. The price was normally $19.99, but we got each meal for $10.00/person. The selection was okay; as you get 3 meats and a choice of 4 sides. We chose fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and ham. The sides we chose were mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, broccoli and rice, and creamed corn. The food was plentiful, but the quality of the food was just average. The highlight was the apple cobbler topped with ice cream. Our server was delightful and she treated us like family. She went out of her way to accommodate our desires., The meal was worth $10/person, but I would never pay nearly $20. It is a nice family place and I am certain many customers visit this restaurant because of the long wait next door at the Alamo.

We had a great dinner fast and hot, wait staff was super, manager visited our table, $10 per person off season price for a Wednesday, you choose 4 sides but I inquired about the broccoli casserole so she brought us that also no charge. Iced tea was very good, freshly brewed. We will go back.

My parents had hit this place during the week and told what a great value it was for the price. *Apparently the price during the week is different then what they have on the weekend. So took the wife and kids there this past Saturday night. Parking lot was not even a 1/4 full. That should have been my first clue. Went in and had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to seat us. That should have been the second clue. After we sat down were advise that its all you can eat. They bring you three meats, chicken, country fried steak and ham. You then chose four veggies. Also the price is $20 bucks which doesn't include your drink. Tack on another $3 bucks for that. The food in general was okay. Nothing great. Chicken pieces was rather strange. Really wasn't a breast really wasn't a thigh. Country fried steak was tiny and dry. The ham was close to the thickness of sandwich meat. Veggies were all okay but nothing impressive. Long story short we had nothing there that was worth the $100 dollar bill we received for a family of four. We could have gone down the road to Cracker Barrel and received better quality food at a much cheaper price. We wont be back.

My wife and I visited for dinner with our one year old daughter. Upon checking in we requested a high chair. We were later taken to our table and did not get a high chair after the hostess confirmed with us on the way to the table. I had to go find an employee to get us a high chair. 22 minutes later our waitress came and greeted us after walking by us a handful of times. The waitress brought our chicken noodle soup and came within inches of splashing the hot juices on my daughter. The soup tasted like nothing but water. We finally got our meatloaf, turkey & dressing, and fried chicken with our Mac and cheese, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, and dumplings. The meatloaf tasted like dog food to the point my wife and I couldn’t eat it. The fried chicken had no meat on it. The turkey had no flavor and tasted like it was out of a can. The stuffing was extremely dry. We got banana pudding for dessert. The carbonation went out of their soda machine after we got our initial drinks and we could only get water, sweet tea, or unsweetened tea as a refill. I asked for an unsweetened tea as I’m a type 1 diabetic, and the waitress brought me an extremely sweetened tea which spiked my blood sugar. The banana pudding and peach butter was the best part of our meal. All in all, that was our first time visiting Mama’s Farmhouse and we will never return.

We had never been here and thought we would try it out for dinner you get 3 predetermined meats, which I really hated, and you pick out 4 sides. The night we went they had fried chicken, country fried steak and gravy and ham. The chicken, biscuits with jam and sides were good but the rest I didn't much like. I would have much rather of went to The Mill or Paula Deens for the price.

This restaurant serves your meal family style. There was 2 adults, 1 teenager & a five-year old in our group. The only food served was fried chicken, meatloaf & catfish with hushpuppies. None of us like catfish so our server offered additional fried chicken. You get to request four sides with your meal so we requested fried okra, creamed corn, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. Your meal also comes with one dessert for each person. We received 5 slices of meatloaf & 3 pieces of chicken (leg, wing & breast). The sides came in cereal size bowls. We did not receive our additional chicken until we specifically requested it. We ended up not eating 1 slice of meatloaf & 2 pieces of chicken. I requested a to go container & was told they do not do that. At $19.99 a pop I would expect we could take our few pieces of meat home!! I feel price wise this place is a total ripoff!! Yes, the food was good but not for what you pay. Our total bill was $76 before tipping (the 5-year old's meal was free.) Most places would have charged individually between $12-$13 for a piece of chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, fried okra & mac & cheese. Our dessert was a chocolate chip cookie. This restaurant is part of the Johnson family restaurants which I truly love. This one I will never step into again. I did contact the restaurant about this. Their answer was rather flip, like, oh well who cares!

Dear bstrong1259, Thank you for eating at Mama’s and thank you for taking the time to post your thoughts on TripAdvisor. I’m glad you liked the food...we are proud of what we serve. I, personally, feel that our price is more than fair when you consider that you get a soup or salad, three meats and four sides plus homemade biscuits and dessert...and it’s ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT! Being an all-you-can-eat restaurant we can not allow to-go boxes...we would literally go out of business. I hope you can understand? We’d love the opportunity to serve you again but, regardless, I wish you and yours all the best in travels and dining.

We went on Monday, monday's is fried chicken, country ham, and country fried steak with gravy! Our sides were mashed potatoes, broccoli casserole, sweet potato casserole and creamed corn. We had the chicken noodle soup and the vegetable soup. Biscuits and jam were great too, and dessert was apple cobbler with ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. Choose the menu you want from the day of the week you go. They bring you the dishes to your table and bring more of whatever you want. Drinks are included, but the winter special for slow season makes this a really good deal! Highly recommend!

Our family of five had spent the day hiking in the Smoky Mountains and we were STARVING, so we stopped at Mama's Farmhouse to enjoy their unlimited, family style dinner. Our waitress was wonderful and we were served promptly. Portions we're unlimited and she gladly brought us refills when we asked. As for the food, it was hit or miss. The fried fish, hush puppies, mac & cheese, and chicken and dumplings were all very good. The fried chicken was terrible...so overcooked that most pieces were inedible and the biscuits were dry and bland. The broccoli casserole was salty and basically mush. But they nailed the peach cobbler for dessert. $125 for a family of five seemed a bit expensive, but we didn't leave hungry.

We enjoy Mammas Farmhouse every time we visit. This visit was no different. We went for an early dinner around 4 and waited about 15 mins for our table. Natalie "Nat" was our waitress. She was friendly and efficient. We had 3 entrees Turkey & Dressing, Meatloaf and Fried Chicken and 4 side dishes Broccoli Casssrole, Sweet Potato Casserole, Mac and Cheese, and Mashed Potatos with Gravy. Dessert was the famous Banana Pudding!! They had a winter Special this week, it was $10 per person. That's a great deal for all you can eat!! They are keeping tables empty between families for social distancing and everyone was wearing masks.

We wanted to find a good local restaurant that wasn’t too crowded on Labor Day while we were in town. Many places on the main strip looked crowded. This restaurant is just a block off the main strip. They serve meals family style. Each day they have 3 different meat items and you get that and then you choose 4 sides to share and a dessert. They happened to have chicken fried steak that day, which is my husbands favorite! My husband is picky on his chicken fried steak, but he loved it and was impressed with the brown gravy, even though he usually gets white gravy. We also got fried chicken, ham, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, chicken and dumplings, fried okra, melt in your mouth biscuits, and peach cobbler with ice cream. Everything was cooked to perfection and reminded you of grandmas home cooking! Since it is served family style it is $19 per person, which includes dessert (but not drinks). You also get refills of any food item you want. Just make sure you come hungry, because it is a LOT of food! I also loved their cute overall uniforms! I’m not sure why they weren’t as busy as some of the other restaurants, because they definitely have some of the best food hands down!!

It may be $13 per person, but it is unlimited...they bring it out & whatever you want more of they'll keep replenishing for you. Food taste great too! We ate around 9:00 & didn't want to eat again til about 6:00 p.m. IF you leave hungry from here ...it's your own fault. lol

We received fried chicken, chicken fried steak and ham. The chicken was OK KFC would have been just as good. Chicken fried steak was ok not much flavor. Any breakfast restaurant can serve you chicken fried steak. The ham was sweet like candy and I hope to never find it again. The sides were bland and not enough to serve 4 people so they brought more. Four people paid $102 not including the tip for a tasteless meal. I'd never recommend.

My husband and brother in law had eaten here at breakfast and LOVED Mary and the food so they insisted the rest of our family come back for dinner. We were not disappointed. Gio was our waiter and he was outstanding-never kept us waiting, made sure we had drinks at all times and was friendly and polite. We had Fried Chicken, Meatloaf and Turkey w/dressing along with different sides. The coleslaw and Mac and cheese were my favorite and all you can eat for $19.99 including amazing biscuits and dessert for each person is a great deal. I suggest the banana pudding.

Mamas farmhouse breakfast was wonderful. They started off with drinks, orange juice was free refills. They had pinwheels, fresh fruit, waffles, amazing buttery biscuits with peach butter, chocolate pudding, hash brown casserole, eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, fried chicken and grits. It was all super delicious. Our waitress Tamara was great conversation and told us some things we could do around the town. We also learned about the families past and enjoyed the experience of the family environment. Would recommend!

This place while pricey, $19.99 for adults,it very good. We went for supper and fried chicken is on the menu everyday. Then depending on what day you go two other meats plus your choice of 4 sides. Everything is all you can eat so if you run out of something and want more they will bring it to you. Don't fill up on the main dishes because dessert is included. Seemed to me that the drinks were included in the price, others have said they are not so not sure. The strawberry butter they bring for the biscuits is wonderful. Wanted to get some to go but they were out in the shop.
