We love this place, my boys love to watch the chickens sing and cluck, they also like to dance to the music with the chickens, boys also love the eggs you get to color, (comes with kids meal I believe) otherwise I think there is maybe small charge which is well worth it. The food is always delicious and hot, chicken is amazing the breading on it is beyond heavenly, and the potatoes are devine and always just right!! All of which come out pretty quick after you order even when they are busy. Our service always fabulous, friendly and my coffee cup stays full, and any help or item we need is always brought to us quickly and with a smile by Tonya, boys love to see her, she's always so good with them, she talks directly to them smiles, and treats them with dignity and respect, also answers their every question about her job, Frizzle's Chicken, how they make the chickens dance, any topic they can think of she'll answer, and with a smile on her face everytime, it's great to know there are people who look at my boys and their Autism like I do with love!!

We had a party of 10 and had a long long wait. I am sure the hostess was over welled but could have been nicer to those waiting. Once seated (had to split up) the waitress was great and kept the coffee coming. They serve large portions and it is basically $10.00 a meal. Every 30 minutes the chickens In their cages come to life and swoon to music very entertaining. Each chickens name is a take from a famous person like MarHEN Monroe. Cute theme

We had a waitress at another restaurant recommend this location for the food and the atmosphere. She told us every 1/2 hour the chickens will dance and sing "Rocky Top". So on our last day we decided to stop for breakfast and arrived at about 7:45 and was immediately seated. The place is pretty unique with all of the staff dressed in flannel shirts and wearing bib overalls. The menu is not extensive but there are plenty of options to choose from and they even allowed us to order off of the lunch menu also. We both ordered BLTs w/double bacon and home fries. Our server was Wendy S and she was very polite and cordial. All of the staff were extremely friendly and upbeat. We received our food quickly and Wendy kept our drinks filled. We waited around for the entertainment and it was well worth it. They have at least two dozen chickens all with different names that come out of their cages and dance and sing "Rocky Top". It is hilarious and very entertaining. The food was really good and the service excellent. The bill for our meal for two coffees, two BLT w/double bacon and home fries was $35.37 with tax. I would recommend everyone try the Frizzle Chicken you won't be disappointed in the food , service and entertainment.

Ordered the chicken tenders and the server left the table before I could request some sauce for it. When she came back I asked for ketchup and gravy but was told the gravy would cost extra so I ended up getting BBQ sauce. Plus the meal was suppose to come with coleslaw which was not brought out until I asked for it and then it was literally a tablespoon worth.

Good breakfast, coffee $3 per cup, 2 people will cost $25-30. Located beside Comedy Barn. Small menu, paper. It is more food than the older generation can eat, hate to leave food on the table. There September 15, 2020. Every chef is different, cooking an over medium egg is difficult for some, and this place does not do it well. However, that said, it is still good.

Frizzle Chicken Farmhouse is as corny and silly as the name implies. It’s a clique tourist destination with its fun Animated Chickens along the inside walls and staff dressed up for a day at Old McDonald’s Farm. However for a tourist destination, the food was pretty good, serving size was respectable, pricing was reasonable and the wait time for food was good. The establishment is following ALL the CDC recommendations for health and safety. They had paper menus, individually packaged condiments (even the maple syrup and salt), staff are wearing masks at all times and they questioned you about your health before entering. I was impressed.

Was not impressed with this restaurant. Service we had wasn't horrible but wasnt the best either took our waitress a little while to come to our table after we were seated. The pancakes were not good but probably just my personal preference of pancake style, i like the cracker barrel style of pancake. Overpriced as well. For 3 of us was $35 and some change. I had the 3 pancake meal, my husband hand chicken and waffles, and my son the kids bear cakes one pepsi and 2 teas i just feel that was worth that much. Chicken show of the chickens was neat. I would recommend skipping this and going to cracker barrel its better in my opinion.

I recently travelled to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg for my 24th birthday and this restaurant was pretty high on my list of things to do. Part of the appeal of PF for me is it's tacky tourist attractions and this restaurant is perfect for that. The food was phenomenal, I got Chicken and Waffles, potatoes, and a large orange juice. I'm usually downing three or four drinks at restaurants but this large OJ was perfect for me because the food came out so fast! Our waitress, Tonya, was also AMAZING. My mom couldn't decide between pancakes or waffles and Tonya helped her pick and my mom loved them. She was super attentive and always made sure we had exactly what we needed and never felt abandoned because she was always just a step away if needed. The only issue we had with the restaurant is that some of the chickens didn't work, the egg fiasco mechanics weren't working, and it's really just one song every half hour. However, these are quite nitpicky things and if I could have given 4.5 stars I would. I would absolutely recommend Frizzle Chicken to anyone coming to the area, families, solo, or anything in between. There's also a coupon in the books you can get around the area for 10% off so definitely grab one of those!

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was thoroughly excited due to the popularity of the restaurant. Because I was by myself, I was able to sit at the bar immediately instead of waiting 40 minutes for a table. My waitress, Victoria, was super nice and was very friendly. She checked on me during the entire visit. I ordered the breakfast platter that came with two eggs, choice of meat, pancakes, and hash potatoes. I substituted my potatoes for grits, in my meat for turkey bacon since I don't eat pork. The food looks delicious when I got it. Just when I was getting ready to dig in, my silverware was dirty after taking it out of the napkin wrap. So I had to ask the hostess for additional silverware. That was okay because it wasn't the first or last restaurant in which my silverware wasn't the cleanest. So I was able to look passed that. As soon as I put the butter in my grits along with the salt and pepper and started stirring it, I notice a long piece of hair was in it. That's when my appetite turned south. I notified Victoria and she immediately rectified the situation. She had them cook a whole new order for me. So I ate my pancakes while I waited. she allowed me to check my food when I got it a second time to make sure it was okay. the pancakes were delicious. But to be honest, I really couldn't enjoy my other plate of food having just experienced a piece of hair in it. I guess I was still traumatized. The entire time I was thinking this bowl of grits might be from the same batch as the first bowl of grits I had with a piece of hair in it. The restaurant had an excellent sanitation score of 98. From the view that I had of the kitchen from the bar, all of the kitchen staff were wearing gloves which was good. I will say that the customer service at the restaurant was good.

I absolutely loved frizzle chicken I will be back to eat there again the food was delicious and came out hot and fresh !! And the dancing and singing chickens I thought was a nice touch to the restaurant. My five year old loved the chickens singing and dancing . My older kids thought it was a little weird but loved the food . The service was nice once we sat down they where busy we waited about 45 mins in our car until they sent us a text our table was ready . But the lady did tell me the wait could be 35 to 45 min wait and we timed it 45 mins to be exact . They do close at 1 pm so only breakfast food and brunch food !!! If you have little ones this is definitely a must to bring them .

Wait for Sunday breakfast around 8 was not very long. Restaurant was very clean and staff very friendly. The chickens on the wall will “sing” every so often. The pancakes I had where good, nothing special. The kid’s pancakes included whipped topping and a little chocolate, just FYI. Neat experience for families with younger children.

Went for breakfast. Arrived soon after they opened. Food came out hot and quickly. Our waitress, Tonya, was great and we were never lacking of a refill. The food was large portions and good. The chickens were cute and would come back especially to bring the kiddos with us since the childrens menu looked great and great prices. The price was good for 2 adults and about the same you pay anywhere you go in Pigeon Forge.

The food was good. The waiter was new but a likeable guy. My wife and I both ordered sweet tea to drink with our breakfast but i also ordered a glass of orange juice and she ordered a cup of milk. We were not asked what size we wanted and i thought they only came in one size. When we got our ticket they charged us $5 each for the milk and orange juice. So drinks alone was $15 for 2 people. Didn't expect to pay $ 50 for a meal for 2 at a small diner.

This restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is great with the animated chickens. That’s about all the good I can say about it. Thought the prices were decent until the portions came out. Had 4 meals and 3 of them were so cold the butter wouldn’t even melt on the pancakes/waffles/french toast. The potatoes and bacon that came with the waffles was also cold. The ham biscuits barely had enough ham on them to be classified as meat and the biscuits were had and crumbly. Then got the bill. $62 for 4 meals and 3 glasses of milk. They charged $4.99 for a large milk. Outrageous. When I complained to the manager all she said was that I should’ve told the waitress, no sorry or anything. Worst part about it was we got there shortly after they opened and the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Won’t be going back.

We went to Frizzle Chicken because it was on a couple of lists for places to visit while in the Pigeon Forge area. It was a real letdown. Mostly (in my opinion) it was simply too touristy. Their big catch was the animatronic chickens throughout the restaurant. While this was kinda cute the food was a real letdown. We ordered breakfast food and were definitely let down. The food wasn't bad but also wasn't great (simply par) and the portions were small. I had ordered a breakfast that had biscuits and gravy with it, the bowl of gravy that came with it was so small that upon seeing it I ordered a second bowl of gravy because the first wasn't going to cover two biscuits sufficiently. Their prices weren't bad for what you got but we would have most certainly paid more to get bigger servings and better food. During our stay we had breakfast at a couple of other places that put Frizzle Chicken to shame. Our opinion is that if you want to take the kids to see the chickens then go. but if you want good food and large servings, go elsewhere.
