Monroe's has been in business longer that I can remember and I remember going there as a child over 50 years ago. Sadly they are now closed. Loved their catfish.

My husband's family has been going to Monroe's since he was a child. Now in our 40s, the tradition continues. Service with a smile, fast, hot tender catfish piled with hushpuppies and fries are served just the way they are meant to be! I disagree taht the hushpuppies are bland. They have less cornmeal in them than some traditional hushpuppies,... More

As I read the reviews, I disagree! We had a great experience at Monroe's. Our catfish was delicious and the service was awesome. Very friendly place .

This place should have been closed years ago. I go once a year to see if it's gotten any better. My review for this year is nope. The food is always poorly seasoned, and the grease always needs to be changed. Breaking on the fish is bland and greasy. And that's the best thing I ate. Took one bite of... More

We were in town with Carpenter's For Christ to build Crossroads Baptist Church a new church building. Our waitresses was very kind and took some pictures of our group. The food was great and they give you a bunch of it! I recommend the seafood platter!

My family has been coming here since 1995 and they never disappoint. It is my favorite catfish restaurant and it has become a custom for us to eat here when we come to our cabin at Lost Creek.

This is a regular stop for us after a fun day on the TN River. It is located at hwy 412 & 100. The TN river is a half mile away. The catfish filtes are good and the mayonnaise slaw is yummy. Nice scenic ride to it no matter which direction you are coming from. Ck their hours as I... More
